1. Maharashtra became the first state to provide digitally-signed land record receipts (also known as 7/12 receipts), which Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis claimed would check irregularities and bring in transparency.
डिजिटली स्वाक्षरी केलेले जमीन रेकॉर्ड पावत्या (7/12 उतारा) प्रदान करणारे महाराष्ट्र पहिले राज्य ठरले आहे.

2. Former IAS officer Subhash Chandra Khuntia was appointed as the Chairman of Insurance Regulatory Development Authority of India (IRDAI).
माजी आयएएस अधिकारी सुभाष चंद्र खुंटिया यांची भारतीय विमा नियामक विकास प्राधिकरण (आयआरडीएआय) चे अध्यक्ष म्हणून नियुक्ती केली आहे.

3. Asit Kumar Jana has taken over as the Chief Executive Officer, GAIL Gas Ltd.
असितकुमार जना यांनी गेल गॅस लिमिटेडचे मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी म्हणून पदभार स्वीकारला आहे.

4. Sitanshu Ranjan Kar, a 1983 batch officer of Indian Information Service, took over as the 27th Principal Spokesperson of the Government of India and Director General of Press Information Bureau in New Delhi.
इंडियन इन्फॉर्मेशन सर्व्हिसच्या 1983 बॅचचे ऑफिसर सि‍तांशु रंजन कार यांनी भारत सरकारचे 27 व्या प्रवर्तक प्रवक्ते आणि नवी दिल्लीतील प्रेस इन्फॉर्मेशन ब्युरोचे महासंचालक म्हणून पदभार स्वीकारला.

5. The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) is conducting a two-day National Workshop on Data Requirements for Disaster Risk Reduction Database.
राष्ट्रीय आपत्ती व्यवस्थापन प्राधिकरण (एनडीएमए) आपत्ती जोखीम कमी करणारे डाटाबेससाठी डेटाच्या आवश्यकतांबद्दल दोन दिवसीय राष्ट्रीय कार्यशाळेचे आयोजन करणार आहे.

6. According to Global Urban Air Pollution database released by World Health Organisation (WHO), 14 Indian cities have figured in list of world’s 20 most polluted cities in terms of particulate matter PM2.5 levels in 2016.
जागतिक आरोग्य संघटनेने (वर्ल्ड हेल्थ ऑर्गनायझेशन) जाहीर केलेल्या जागतिक नागरी आरोग्य प्रदूषणाच्या आकडेवारीनुसार 2016 मध्ये पीएमच्या 2.5 कणांनुसार जगातील 20 सर्वाधिक प्रदूषित शहरांच्या यादीत 14 भारतीय शहरांचा समावेश आहे.

7. Union Cabinet approves Mutual Recognition Agreement between the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडळाने भारत सरकारच्या चार्टर्ड अकाऊंटंट्स आणि दक्षिण आफ्रिकन इन्स्टिट्यूट ऑफ चार्टर्ड अकाउंटंट्स यांच्यात म्युच्युअल रिकॉग्निशन कराराला मंजुरी दिली आहे.

8. World Press Freedom Day is celebrated on 3rd May.

9. Legendary singer Asha Bhosle was honored with 26th PC Chandra Puraskaar for her contribution in the field of Indian music.
भारतीय संगीत क्षेत्रातील योगदानासाठी सुप्रसिद्ध गायिका आशा भोसले यांना 26 व्या सीपी चंद्र पुरस्काराराने सन्मानित करण्यात आले.

10. The first Finance Minister in the Left Front government in West Bengal Ashok Mitra passed away in Kolkata. He was 90.
पश्चिम बंगालमधील डाव्या आघाडीच्या सरकारमधील पहिले अर्थमंत्री अशोक मित्रा यांचे कोलकातामध्ये निधन झाले. ते 90 वर्षांचे होते.
