4. Former ISRO chairman A S Kiran Kumar was conferred with France’s highest civilian award – Chevalier de l’Ordre national de la Lgion d’Honneur.

6. Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) has appointed chartered accountant M Jayshree Vyas as its first independent woman director to the board.

7. The Netherlands is now the third largest foreign direct investor (FDI) in India. The Netherlands has invested around $2.67 billion across sectors in India during 2017-18.
भारतात आता नीदरलँड हा तिसरा सर्वात मोठा परदेशी थेट गुंतवणूकदार (एफडीआय) आहे. 2017-18 दरम्यान नेदरलँड्समध्ये भारतातील एकूण क्षेत्रांत सुमारे 2.67 अब्ज डॉलर्स गुंतले आहेत.

8. Russian President Vladimir Putin signed into law a “sovereign internet” bill that will allow Russian authorities to isolate the country’s internet to expand the Government Control of the Internet. This move is being publicly denounced by all rights groups in Russia and will lead to censorship over large parts of the Internet.
रशियाचे अध्यक्ष व्लादिमिर पुतिन यांनी एक “सार्वभौम इंटरनेट” कायद्यावर स्वाक्षरी केली आहे ज्यामुळे रशियन प्राधिकरणांना इंटरनेटच्या सरकारच्या नियंत्रणास विस्तार देण्यासाठी देशाचे इंटरनेट पृथक करण्याची अनुमती मिळेल. रशियामधील सर्व हक्क गटांद्वारे या कारवाईचा जाहीरपणे निषेध केला जात आहे आणि इंटरनेटच्या मोठ्या भागांवरील सेन्सॉरशिप होणार आहे.
