2. Asian Development Bank (ADB), traditionally strong in funding social sector projects in education, water and irrigation in India, is moving into financing metro rail projects in the country in a big way.
भारतातील शिक्षण, जल व सिंचन क्षेत्रात सामाजिक क्षेत्रातील प्रकल्पांना वित्तपुरवठा करण्यासाठी पारंपारिकदृष्ट्या मजबूत असलेल्या एशियन डेव्हलपमेंट बँक (एडीबी) मोठ्या प्रमाणात मेट्रो रेल्वे प्रकल्पांना वित्त पुरवठा करत आहे.

4. Indian Postal Department released Postage Stamp to commemorate 750th Birth Anniversary of Sri Vedanta Desika.
भारतीय डाक विभागाने श्री वेदांत देसाकाची 750वी जयंती साजरी करण्यासाठी पोस्टेज स्टॅम्प जारी केले आहेत.

5. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) revealed that a 340-meter-wide asteroid will “harmlessly” fly by Earth on April 13, 2029, about 31,000 kilometers above the surface.
नॅशनल एरोनॉटिक्स ॲण्ड स्पेस ॲडमिनिस्ट्रेशन (नासा) ने खुलासा केला आहे की 340 मीटरच्या वायव्य लघुग्रह “armlessly” 13 एप्रिल 2029 रोजी पृथ्वीपासून सुमारे 31,000 किलोमीटर अंतरावर उडेल.

6. The 16th Ministerial Meeting of Asia Cooperation Dialogue held in Doha, Qatar with the theme ‘Partners in Progress’.

7. Defence Ministry Nirmala Sitharaman approved Indian Navy’s proposal to acquire 10 Kamov-31 choppers from Russia at a cost of around Rs. 3,600 crore to strengthen its capability against aerial threats to its aircraft carriers and large warships.
विमान वाहक आणि मोठ्या युद्धपद्धतींना हवाई धोक्यांविरोधात क्षमता वाढविण्यासाठी संरक्षण मंत्रालयाच्या अध्यक्ष निर्मला सीतारामन यांनी रशियाच्या कडून 3,600 कोटी रुपयांचे 10 ‘Kamov-31’ हेलिकॉप्टरसाठी मान्यता दिली आहे.

8. As a part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), LIC Housing Finance Ltd (LIC HFL) in association with Lok Bharti Education Society has unveiled a skilling centre named “UDYAM” in Bangalore, which will provide skill development training to marginalized youth in the sectors of BFSI, Retail and IT/ITES.

9. Market regulator, Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has banned NSE, National Stock Exchange from gaining access to the securities market for a period of 6 months.
मार्केट रेग्युलेटर, सिक्युरिटीज अँड एक्सचेंज बोर्ड ऑफ इंडिया (सेबी) ने एनएसई, नॅशनल स्टॉक एक्सचेंजला 6 महिन्यांच्या कालावधीसाठी सिक्युरिटीज मार्केटमध्ये प्रवेश मिळविण्यावर बंदी घातली आहे.
