1. The World Trade Organization (WTO) said that global trade is primed for a strong but uneven recovery after the Covid-19 pandemic shock, forecasting an increase in the volume of world merchandise trade of 8 percent this year.
जागतिक व्यापार संघटनेने (WTO) म्हटले आहे की कोविड -19 साथीच्या धोक्यानंतर जागतिक व्यापार मजबूत परंतु असमान पुनर्प्राप्तीसाठी आहे, यावर्षी जागतिक व्यापार व्यापारात 8 टक्क्यांच्या वाढीचा अंदाज आहे.

2. Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu will be the chief guest at the function to mark the conclusion of the 25-day long Dandi yatra in Gujarat on April 6.

3. President Joe Biden has said his $2 trillion investment proposal, touted as a “once-in-a-generation” plan, would boost the US global competitive edge, modernise aging infrastructure and address the challenge posed by climate change.

4. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) extended the timeline by six months to comply with its guidelines related to recurring online transactions with Additional Factor of Authentication (AFA).

5. The government extended the deadline for linking PAN with biometric Aadhaar for three months, until June 30.
पॅनला बायोमेट्रिक आधारशी जोडण्याची मुदत सरकारने 30 जूनपर्यंत वाढविली आहे.

6. A team of scientists from the Indian Council of Medical Research examined 1,300 cases of people who tested positive for the coronavirus twice. It has been found that 58 out of 1,300 individuals (4.5%) can be classified as possible reinfections.
इंडियन काउन्सिल ऑफ मेडिकल रिसर्चच्या शास्त्रज्ञांच्या पथकाने कोरोनाव्हायरससाठी दोनदा सकारात्मक चाचणी घेतलेल्या लोकांच्या 1,300  प्रकरणांची तपासणी केली. असे आढळले आहे की 1,300 पैकी 58 (4.5%) संभाव्य रीफिकेशन्स म्हणून वर्गीकृत केले जाऊ शकते.

7. Recently, the government has extended the 3 lakh-crore rupees Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme (ECLGS) until June 30, 2021, and has also expanded its scope to new areas, including hotels, travel and tourism. ECLGS was launched in May 2020 as part of the Atmanirbhar plan, the center of the response to the Covid-19 crisis.
अलीकडेच सरकारने 3 लाख कोटी रुपयांची आपत्कालीन क्रेडिट लाईन गॅरंटी योजना (ईसीएलजीएस) 30 जून, 2021 पर्यंत वाढविली आहे आणि हॉटेल्स, प्रवास आणि पर्यटनासह नव्या क्षेत्रातही त्याचा विस्तार केला आहे. ECLGS कोविड -19 संकटाला मिळालेल्या प्रतिसादाचे केंद्र आत्मनिरर्भ योजनेच्या भाग म्हणून मे 2020 मध्ये सुरू करण्यात आले.

8. The Supreme Court has asked the government to clarify the status of the 55 recommendations made by colleges and universities (Collegium) regarding judicial appointments to the High courts.
उच्च न्यायालयाने न्यायालयीन नेमणुका संदर्भात महाविद्यालये आणि विद्यापीठे (कॉलेजियम) केलेल्या 55 शिफारशींची स्थिती स्पष्ट करण्यास सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाने सरकारला सांगितले आहे.

10. Billionaire Anil Agarwal-led Vedanta Ltd plans to set up a coastal copper smelter plant in India for Rs 10,000 crore.
