1. The Indian government officially voiced vehement opposition of China’s recent actions to rename certain locations in Arunachal Pradesh. India reaffirmed that the bordering country’s initiatives were unfounded. A statement was issued by the Ministry of External Affairs affirming that Arunachal Pradesh is a crucial and inseparable component of democratic India. India always resisted succumbing to any form of coercion from the Chinese country.
अरुणाचल प्रदेशातील काही ठिकाणांचे नाव बदलण्याच्या चीनच्या अलीकडील कृतींचा भारत सरकारने अधिकृतपणे तीव्र विरोध केला. सीमावर्ती देशाचे उपक्रम निराधार असल्याचे भारताने दुजोरा दिला. अरुणाचल प्रदेश हा लोकशाही भारताचा एक महत्त्वाचा आणि अविभाज्य घटक असल्याची पुष्टी देणारे एक निवेदन परराष्ट्र मंत्रालयाने जारी केले आहे. चिनी देशाच्या कोणत्याही प्रकारच्या जबरदस्तीला बळी पडण्याचा भारताने नेहमीच प्रतिकार केला.

2. The United States and the United Kingdom have just entered into a bilateral agreement to collaborate on the development of tests for cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) models. This agreement is a continuation of the promises made at the Bletchley Park AI Safety Summit last year. The decision is made in response to global efforts to establish regulations for the fast expansion of AI systems. While these systems provide potential, they also represent substantial risks to numerous aspects of society, including disinformation and election integrity.

3. Recently, a massive earthquake struck Taiwan, causing significant damage and casualties. The earthquake, measuring 7.2 magnitude according to Taiwan’s earthquake monitoring agency and 7.4 according to the US Geological Survey (USGS), was the biggest earthquake to hit the island in at least 25 years. The epicentre was located just 18 kilometres south-southwest of Hualien County in eastern Taiwan.

4. OpenAI has unveiled a novel artificial intelligence model named Voice Engine. This model has the ability to imitate any voice in any language by utilising a short audio sample. This allows users to create audio material that sounds exactly like the original sample in terms of voice and speaking style. Although the corporation has not yet made Voice Engine available to the public, it is believed that this decision is mostly driven by safety concerns.

5. According to the paper named ‘Recap 2024’, India’s stock market capitalization is presently the fifth highest in the world, amounting to $4.5 trillion. The artwork titled “Crystal Gaze 2025” is created by the financial company Pantomath Group. According to the analysis, India’s market capitalization is expected to reach $10 trillion by 2030, propelled by robust economic expansion and advantageous government policies. By 2027, India would become the third-largest economy globally.
