1. Railway Minister Piyush Goyal instructed officials to provide WiFi facilities at a minimum of 2,000 stations as soon as possible. He also called for setting up a single helpline number for all non-security railway complaints by the end of January.
रेल्वे मंत्री पीयूष गोयल यांनी अधिका-यांना शक्य तितक्या लवकर किमान 2,000 स्टेशनवर वायफाय सुविधा प्रदान करण्याचे निर्देश दिले आहेत. त्यांनी जानेवारीच्या अखेरीपर्यंत सर्व गैर-सुरक्षा रेल्वे तक्रारींसाठी एक सिंगल हेल्पलाइन नंबर स्थापित करण्याची मागणी केली.

3. Parliament following the approval from the Rajya-Sabha passed a bill to provide retrospective recognition to central and state government funded institutions offering B.Ed and related courses that are not recognized under the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) Act.

10. Renowned Bengali writer and Sahitya Akademi awardee Dibyendu Palit died. He was 79.
प्रसिद्ध बंगाली लेखक आणि साहित्य अकादमी पुरस्कार विजेते दिव्येंदु पालित यांचे निधन झाले. ते 79 वर्षांचे होते.
