| 1. The Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER) has published the State of India’s Digital Economy (SIDE) Report 2024, which is a comprehensive analysis of India’s digital economy. The report is based on a study conducted by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).

| 2. The digital infrastructure of India has progressed at a rapid pace, contributing 11.74% to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in 2022-23 and is expected to reach 20% of GDP by 2029-30. The IndiaAI Mission has been allocated Rs 2,000 crore in the Union Budget 2025-26 to facilitate the development of AI infrastructure and skill-building initiatives, thereby further accelerating this growth.

| 3. The Tribhuvan Sahkari University is to be established by the Government of India through the introduction of a Bill. This new institution will be situated on the campus of the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) in Gujarat. Krishan Pal Gurjar, the Minister of State for Cooperation, introduced the Bill in Lok Sabha on February 3, 2025. The university is committed to becoming a national institution of significance, with a particular emphasis on cooperative education and training.

| 4. The Bharat Ranbhoomi Darshan initiative was initiated by the Defence Ministry on the 77th Army Day. The objective of this initiative is to encourage battlefield tourism throughout India. It concentrates on 77 sites that honor the sacrifices of the Indian Armed Forces. The Indian Army, provincial administrations, and the Ministry of Tourism are all involved in the initiative. It aims to ensure the welfare of visitors and raise awareness of India’s military history.

| 5. In India, plant parasitic nematodes are posing a threat to agriculture. The annual crop losses caused by these parasites, which are estimated to be ₹25,000 crore, were recently brought to light during a symposium in Goa by more than 100 agricultural scientists. In order to safeguard soil health and maintain crop productivity, experts underscored the necessity of effective nematode management.
