1. Dubai Duty-Free has announced that Indian Rupee will now be an accepted currency at all the retail outlets of the Dubai airport.

2. Newly appointed Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the first budget of the second term of the Narendra Modi government.

6. The First ever India International Cooperatives Trade Fair (IITF) is going to be held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from 11th till 13th October, 2019.

7. Christine Lagarde, the MD of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), was nominated to become the next president of the European Central Bank by the European Union Council.

9. According to the latest Henley Passport Index 2019 Japan and Singapore have ranked on top which means that these two countries have the most powerful passports in the world. Indian passport ranked at 86th position.
