1. Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) of Reserve Bank of India increased the policy Repo Rate under the liquidity adjustment facility (LAF) by 25 basis points to 6.25 percent in the Second Bi-monthly Monetary Policy Statement (2018-19).
भारतीय रिझर्व बँकेच्या चलनविषयक धोरण समितीने (एमपीसी) रोखता समायोजन सुविधा (एलएएफ) अंतर्गत पॉलिसी रेपो दर 25 बेसिस पॉईंटने वाढवून दुसऱ्या द्विमासिक मासिक धोरण (2018-19) मध्ये 6.25 टक्के केला आहे.

2. Agriculture Ministry has launched the Krishi kalyan Abhiyaan to provide assistance and advice to farmers.
शेतकऱ्यांना मदत आणि सल्ला देण्यासाठी कृषी मंत्रालयाने कृषि कल्याण अभियान सुरू केले आहे.

3.  Ethnic Indian, Tommy Thomas has been appointed as the new attorney general of Malaysia.
भारतीय मूळ टॉमी थॉमस यांना मलेशियाचे नवीन ऍटर्नी जनरल म्हणून नियुक्त करण्यात आले आहे.

4. Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is organizing Financial Literacy Week from 4th June to 8th June, across the nation.
भारतीय रिझर्व बँक (आरबीआय) 4 जून ते 8 जून या कालावधीत आर्थिक साक्षरता सप्ताह आयोजित करत आहे.

5. Suresh Prabhu has attended an informal Gathering of World Trade Organisation (WTO) Ministers in Paris.
पॅरिसमध्ये डब्ल्यूटीओचे मंत्र्यांच्या अनौपचारिक परिषदेत सुरेश प्रभू यांनी सहभाग घेतला आहे.

6. Social entrepreneur Vijay Mahajan has been appointed as secretary & chief executive officer of Rajiv Gandhi Foundation (RGF).
सामाजिक उद्यमी विजय महाजन यांची राजीव गांधी संस्था (आरजीएफ) चे सचिव व मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी म्हणून नियुक्ती केली आहे.

7. Telangana government has signed a memorandum of understanding with Life Insurance Corporation of India for Rythu Bandhu Life Insurance Scheme.
तेलंगणा सरकारने रायथु बंधु जीवन विमा योजनेसाठी भारतीय आयुर्विमा निगमशी एक सामंजस्य करार केला आहे.

8. The Tamil Nadu government has announced banning use of plastic items, including non-biodegradable bags, from January 2019.
तामिळनाडू सरकारने जानेवारी 2019 पासून नॉन-बायोडिग्रेडेबल बॅगसह प्लास्टिकच्या वस्तूंचा वापर प्रतिबंधित करण्याचे जाहीर केले आहे.

9. The two-day 49th Conference of Governors concluded in New Delhi. The President exhorted Governors to take the lead in adopting modern technology and methods.
दोन दिवसांचा 49 व्या  गव्हर्नरंच्या परिषदेची सांगता नवी दिल्ली येथे झाली. राष्ट्रपतींनी आधुनिक तंत्रज्ञान आणि पद्धतींचा अवलंब करण्याच्या आघाडीवर नेतृत्वाची जबाबदारी राज्यपालांना दिली.

10.  Senior journalist and author Raj Kishore passed away recently. He was 72.
ज्येष्ठ पत्रकार आणि लेखक राज किशोर यांचे नुकतेच निधन झाले. ते 72 वर्षांचे होते
