1. India’s overall ranking on the government’s adoption of e-payments has moved up to 28th in 2018, from 36th in 2011.
सरकारने ई-पेमेंट्सचा अवलंब केल्यामुळे भारताचा एकूण क्रमांक 2011 मध्ये 36 व्या स्थानावरुन 2018 मध्ये 28 व्या स्थानावर गेला आहे.

2. The government has appointed senior banker Rakesh Sharma as managing director (MD) and chief executive officer (CEO) of IDBI Bank.
सरकारने राकेश शर्मा यांना आयडीबीआय बँकेचे व्यवस्थापकीय संचालक (एमडी) आणि  मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी (सीईओ) म्हणून नियुक्त केले आहे.

3. YES, Bank has appointed former State Bank of India chief OP Bhatt and former insurance regulator TS Vijayan as external experts to help find a successor to its Managing Director and CEO Rana Kapoor.
यस बँकेने माजी स्टेट बँक ऑफ इंडियाचे अध्यक्ष ओ.पी. भट्ट आणि माजी विमा नियामक टी. एस. विजयन यांना व्यवस्थापकीय संचालक आणि मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी राणा कपूर यांचे उत्तराधिकारी शोधण्यासाठी बाह्य तज्ञ म्हणून नियुक्त केले आहे.

4.  India has signed an over $5-billion deal to buy Russia’s S-400 aerial-defense system during Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to India.
रशियाच्या अध्यक्ष व्लादिमिर पुतिन यांच्या भारताच्या दौर्यादरम्यान रशियाच्या एस -400 एरील-डिफेन्स सिस्टम खरेदी करण्यासाठी भारताने 5 बिलियन डॉलर्सहून अधिक करार केला आहे.

5. The Indian Railway is set to withdraw Kerala’s first Diesel Electrical Mainline Unit (DEMU) train service.
केरळची पहिली डिझेल इलेक्ट्रिकल मेनलाइन युनिट (डीईएमयू) रेल्वे सेवा मागे घेण्याचे भारतीय रेल्वेने ठरवले आहे.

6. Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) approved Reliance Health Insurance, a wholly owned subsidiary of Reliance Capital, to begin operations. It will commence operations by December 2018.भारतीय आयुर्विमा नियामक आणि विकास प्राधिकरण (आयआरडीएआय) ने रिलायन्स कॅपिटलची पूर्ण मालकी असलेली उपकंपनी, रिलायन्स हेल्थ इन्शुरन्स मंजूर केली आहे. ही डिसेंबर 2018 पर्यंत सुरू होईल.

7. India Chem 2018, the 10th Biennial International Exhibition & Conference began in Mumbai. The largest event of Chemicals and Petrochemical Industry in India is a two-day event.

8. Alphonso Mango from Palghar, Thane, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg and other adjoining areas in Maharashtra, finally gets a Geographical Indication (GI) Tag.
पालघर, ठाणे, रत्नागिरी, सिंधुदुर्ग आणि महाराष्ट्रातील इतर परिसरातील अल्फांसो आंब्याला,  भौगोलिक संकेत (जीआय) टॅग प्राप्त झाले आहे.

9. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) maintained its key benchmark lending rates in its fourth bi-monthly monetary policy review of 2018-19 and kept the repo rate unchanged at 6.50%.
रिझर्व्ह बँक ऑफ इंडिया (आरबीआय) ने 2018-19 च्या चौथ्या द्वि-मासिक चलनविषयक धोरणात्मक आढाव्यामध्ये आपले प्रमुख बेंचमार्क कर्ज दर राखले आणि रेपो दर 6.50% वर कायम ठेवला.

10. Oscar-winning animator Will Vinton has died at the age of 70.
ऑस्कर विजेते अॅनिमेटर विल विन्टन यांचे निधन झाले आहे. ते 70 वर्षांचे होते.
