1. The Government has reconstituted eight Cabinet Committees. These are Appointments Committee, Committees on Accommodation, Economic Affairs, Parliamentary Affairs, Political Affairs, Security, Investment and Growth and Cabinet Committee on Employment and Skill Development.
सरकारने आठ मंत्रिमंडळ समितीची पुनर्रचना केली आहे. ही नियुक्ती समिती, निवासस्थानावरील समित्या, आर्थिक व्यवहार, संसदीय कार्ये, राजकीय कार्ये, सुरक्षा, गुंतवणूक आणि विकास आणि रोजगार आणि कौशल्य विकासावरील कॅबिनेट कमिटी आहेत.

2. The Reserve bank of India in its bi-monthly monetary policy review today reduced the repo rate by 25 basis points to 5.75 per cent from 6.0 per cent with immediate effect.
भारतीय रिजर्व बँकेने आपल्या द्वि-मासिक आर्थिक धोरणाच्या आढावा अंतर्गत आजच्या रेपो दराने 25 आधारभूत पॉईंट्स कमी करुन 5.75 टक्के केला आहे.

3. The Thailand Parliament has elected 2014 coup leader Prayuth Chan-ocha as Prime Minister.
थायलंड संसदेने 2014 चे नेते प्रयाग चान-ओचा यांना पंतप्रधान म्हणून निवडले आहे.

4.  IT Industry icon Azim Premji will retire as Executive Chairman of Wipro with effect from 30th July this year. He led the company for 53 years.
आयटी इंडस्ट्रीचे आयकॉन अझीम प्रेमजी विप्रोचे कार्यकारी अध्यक्ष म्हणून यावर्षी 30 जुलैपासून निवृत्त होतील. त्यांनी कंपनीला 53 वर्षे दिले आहेत.

5. Kumar Iyer has been appointed by the UK government as the Chief Economist of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO).
यूके सरकारकडून परराष्ट्र आणि राष्ट्रकुल कार्यालय (एफसीओ) चे  मुख्य अर्थतज्ज्ञ कुमार अय्यर यांना नियुक्त करण्यात आले आहे.

6. Renowned scientist and cyclone warning specialist Mrutyunjay Mohapatra have been appointed as the chief of India Meteorological Department (IMD).
प्रख्यात शास्त्रज्ञ आणि चक्रीवादळ चेतावणी विशेषज्ञ श्री मृतांजय महापात्रा यांना भारतीय हवामानशास्त्र विभाग (आयएमडी) प्रमुख म्हणून नियुक्त केले आहे.

7. Delhi Metro became the first ever project in the country to receive power generated from a waste-to-energy plant.
कचरा-उर्जा संयंत्रातून मिळणारी ऊर्जा मिळविणारा दिल्ली मेट्रो देशातील पहिला प्रकल्प ठरला आहे.

8. Gujarat topped the country with annual fish production of 7.8 lakh tonnes, followed by Tamil Nadu (7.02 lakh tonnes) and Kerala (6.43 lakh tonnes) according to the Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI).
सेंट्रल मरीन फिशरीज रिसर्च इन्स्टिट्यूट (CMFRI) नुसार गुजरातने 7.8 लाख टन वार्षिक मासे उत्पादन केले असून त्यानंतर तमिळनाडू (7.02 लाख टन) आणि केरळ (6.43 लाख टन).

9. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is to chair the Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs in the second term of the NDA government. Decisions on all the parliament matters will be taken by the Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs.
संरक्षण मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह एनडीए सरकारच्या दुसऱ्या कार्यकाळात संसदीय कामकाजावरील कॅबिनेट समितीचे अध्यक्ष आहेत. संसदीय कामकाजावरील कॅबिनेट कमिटीद्वारे सर्व संसदेच्या प्रकरणांवर निर्णय घेण्यात येणार आहे.

10. India ranked 95th out of 129 countries in the Sustainable Development Goals Gender Index.
सस्टेनेबल डेव्हलपमेंट गोल्स जेंडर इंडेक्समध्ये 129 देशांपैकी भारत 95 व्या स्थानावर आहे.
