1. The Siu-Ka-Pha Award was presented to noted educationist, Botanist and folklore researcher Dr. Padmeswar Gogoi.

2. The Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru started its operations on the new South Runway. The operation began with the landing of the first flight on the 4,000-metres long and 45-meters wide airstrip.

3. India provided a $500 million Line of Credit (LoC) to Bangladesh on 5 December. The funding is for defenCe-related procurement in Bangladesh.

6. Wipro Limited, a leading information technology announced the launch of its Cyber Defence Centre (CDC) in Melbourne, Australia.

7. The Reserve Bank of India has increased the limits imposed on peer-to-peer lenders to ₹50 lakh, in a major relief to the fledgling sector. The limit is the total amount of money any investor can invest across all P2P platforms.
रिझर्व्ह बँक ऑफ इंडियाने पी 2 पी कर्ज देणार्‍या व्यासपीठाचा व्यवसाय समान गटांमध्ये विस्तारित करण्यासाठी पावले उचलली आहेत. मध्यवर्ती बँकेने अशा सावकारांमधील एकूण कर्जाची मर्यादा पाच पट वाढवून 50 लाख रुपये केली आहे.

8. The Global Climate Risk Index 2020 released by environmental think tank Germanwatch ranked India the fifth most vulnerable nation to climate change.
