1. The Indian Navy and the US Navy successfully conducted the seventh edition of the IN-USN Salvage and Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) exercise, also known as SALVEX. This joint exercise showcased the collaborative efforts and expertise of both navies in salvage and explosive ordnance disposal operations.
भारतीय नौदल आणि यूएस नौदलाने IN-USN साल्व्हेज अँड एक्सप्लोसिव्ह ऑर्डनन्स डिस्पोजल (EOD) सरावाची सातवी आवृत्ती यशस्वीरित्या पार पाडली, ज्याला SALVEX म्हणूनही ओळखले जाते. या संयुक्त सरावाने बचाव आणि स्फोटक शस्त्रास्त्रे विल्हेवाट लावण्याच्या कार्यात दोन्ही नौदलांचे सहयोगात्मक प्रयत्न आणि कौशल्य प्रदर्शित केले.
2. A Reserve Bank of India-appointed working group recommended inclusion of the rupee in the Special Drawing Rights (SDR) basket and recalibration of the foreign portfolio investor (FPI) regime to accelerate the pace of internationalisation of the rupee.
भारतीय रिझर्व्ह बँकेने नियुक्त केलेल्या कार्यगटाने रुपयाच्या आंतरराष्ट्रीयीकरणाच्या गतीला गती देण्यासाठी स्पेशल ड्रॉईंग राइट्स (SDR) बास्केटमध्ये रुपयाचा समावेश करण्याची आणि विदेशी पोर्टफोलिओ गुंतवणूकदार (FPI) रीकॅलिब्रेशनची शिफारस केली आहे.
3. The Lieutenant Governor of Delhi distributed Honeybee-Boxes and Toolkits to 130 recipients in an event organized by the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC). This distribution was carried out as part of the Gramodyog Vikas Yojana (GVY) program, aimed at promoting rural entrepreneurship and sustainable livelihoods.
खादी आणि ग्रामोद्योग आयोग (KVIC) द्वारे आयोजित कार्यक्रमात दिल्लीच्या उपराज्यपालांनी 130 प्राप्तकर्त्यांना मधमाशी-पेटी आणि टूलकिटचे वाटप केले. हे वितरण ग्रामोद्योग विकास योजना (GVY) कार्यक्रमाचा भाग म्हणून करण्यात आले, ज्याचा उद्देश ग्रामीण उद्योजकता आणि शाश्वत उपजीविकेला चालना देण्याच्या उद्देशाने आहे.
4. The Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying conducted an awareness program on zoonotic diseases as part of the Aazadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav initiative on World Zoonosis Day. The program aimed to raise awareness about diseases that can be transmitted between animals and humans and promote preventive measures.
पशुसंवर्धन आणि दुग्धव्यवसाय विभागाने जागतिक प्राणी दिवसानिमित्त आझादी का अमृत महोत्सव उपक्रमाचा एक भाग म्हणून झुनोटिक रोगांबाबत जनजागृती कार्यक्रम आयोजित केला होता. या कार्यक्रमाचा उद्देश प्राणी आणि मानवांमध्ये पसरणाऱ्या रोगांबद्दल जागरूकता वाढवणे आणि प्रतिबंधात्मक उपायांना प्रोत्साहन देणे हा आहे.
5. The World Health Organization (WHO) has released new guidelines aimed at helping countries develop policies to protect children from the harmful effects of food marketing that promotes unhealthy dietary choices. The guidelines provide recommendations to regulate the marketing of unhealthy foods to children and promote the consumption of nutritious foods.
वर्ल्ड हेल्थ ऑर्गनायझेशन (WHO) ने नवीन मार्गदर्शक तत्त्वे जारी केली आहेत ज्यांच्या उद्देशाने मुलांचे अन्न विपणनाच्या हानिकारक प्रभावांपासून संरक्षण करण्यासाठी धोरणे विकसित करण्यात मदत करणे आहे जे अस्वास्थ्यकर आहार निवडीला प्रोत्साहन देते. मार्गदर्शक तत्त्वे मुलांसाठी अस्वास्थ्यकर खाद्यपदार्थांच्या विपणनाचे नियमन करण्यासाठी आणि पौष्टिक पदार्थांच्या वापरास प्रोत्साहन देण्यासाठी शिफारसी देतात.
6. The Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture (CRIDA) is developing an Early Warning System called “Farmers’ Distress Index” to address the challenges faced by farmers in India. It aims to provide timely information and interventions to mitigate distress. This initiative by CRIDA is expected to benefit farmers and contribute to their well-being.
कोरडवाहू शेतीसाठी केंद्रीय संशोधन संस्था (CRIDA) भारतातील शेतकऱ्यांसमोरील आव्हानांना सामोरे जाण्यासाठी “शेतकऱ्यांचा त्रास निर्देशांक” नावाची पूर्व चेतावणी प्रणाली विकसित करत आहे. त्रास कमी करण्यासाठी वेळेवर माहिती आणि हस्तक्षेप प्रदान करणे हे त्याचे उद्दिष्ट आहे. CRIDA च्या या उपक्रमामुळे शेतकऱ्यांना फायदा होईल आणि त्यांच्या कल्याणासाठी हातभार लागेल अशी अपेक्षा आहे.
