1. International Day of World’s Indigenous Peoples is commemorated on August 9.

2. On August 9, Japan is commemorating the Nagasaki Day. On this day in 1945, the United States had dropped “Fat Man- atomic bomb” on Japanese city, Nagasaki.
9 ऑगस्ट रोजी जपान नागासाकी दिन पाळत आहे. 1945 मध्ये या दिवशी अमेरिकेने जपानी शहर नागासाकीवर “फॅट मॅनॅटॉमिक बॉम्ब” टाकला होता.

3. Recently, the Reserve Bank of India proposed to allow Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS) to process cross-border inbound bill payments.

4. Energy Conservation (Amendment) Bill, 2022 was put in the Lok Sabha on August 3, 2022 and was passed on August 8.

5. The Army Design Bureau has inked a MoU with Drone Federation of India, to work for promotion of research, development, testing and manufacturing of drones, counter drones and related technologies, in collaboration.
आर्मी डिझाईन ब्युरोने ड्रोन फेडरेशन ऑफ इंडियासोबत सहकार्याने संशोधन, विकास, चाचणी आणि ड्रोन, काउंटर ड्रोन आणि संबंधित तंत्रज्ञानाच्या निर्मितीसाठी काम करण्यासाठी सामंजस्य करार केला आहे.

6. The 12th DefExpo is scheduled to held from October 18 to October 22, 2022 in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. It is the largest exhibition on Land, Naval and Homeland Security systems in India.
