1. Union Minister of State (IC) for Power and New & Renewable Energy, Shri R.K Singh, launched a Web-based monitoring System and a Fly Ash mobile application named ASH TRACK.
केंद्रीय ऊर्जा राज्य मंत्री (आयसी) पॉवर अँड न्यू अॅनवायइएबल एनर्जी, आर.के.सिंह यांनी  ‘ASH ट्रॅक’ नामक वेब आधारित मॉनिटरिंग सिस्टम & फ्लाय एश मोबाईल ऍप्लिकेशन लॉंच केले.

2. According to the International Intellectual Property Index released by the US Chambers of Commerce, India has climbed one place to reach at 44th rank in the list of 50 countries.
अमेरिकन चेंबर्स ऑफ कॉमर्सने प्रसिद्ध केलेल्या आंतरराष्ट्रीय बौद्धिक संपत्ती निर्देशांकानूसार, भारत 50 देशांच्या यादीत 44 व्या स्थानावर पोहोचला आहे.

3. PepsiCo Chairman and CEO Indra Nooyi appointed as the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) first-ever independent female director.
पेप्सिकोच्या अध्यक्ष आणि सीईओ इंद्रा नूई यांची आंतरराष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट परिषदेच्या (आयसीसी) पहिली स्वतंत्र महिला संचालक म्हणून नेमणूक करण्यात आली आहे.

4. President Ram Nath Kovind inaugurated the ‘Mahamastakabhisheka’, the head anointing ceremony of the monolithic statue of Lord Gomateshwara Bahubali. This festival is observed once in every 12 years.
राष्ट्रपती रामनाथ कोविंद यांनी ‘महामस्काभिषेक’ चे उद्घाटन केले. लॉर्ड गॉमेंटेवारा बाहुबली यांच्या अखंड पुतळ्याचे प्रमुख अभिषेक समारंभाचे उद्घाटनाचा हा सण प्रत्येक 12 वर्षात एकदा साजरा केला जातो.

5. Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni became the fourth wicket-keeper to effect 400 dismissals in One Day Internationals.
एकदिवसीय सामन्यांमध्ये 400 बळी घेणारा  भारतीय क्रिकेटपटू महेंद्रसिंग धोनी चौथा विकेटकीपर ठरला.

6. The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) approved to enhance target base of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) from 5 crore to 8 crores.
केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडळाच्या आर्थिक कामकाज समितीने (सीसीईए) प्रधान मंत्री उज्ज्वला योजना (पीएमयूवाय) चा लक्ष्य आधार 5 कोटींवरून 8 कोटीपर्यंत वाढविण्यास मंजुरी दिली आहे.

7. Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has constituted a 13-member advisory committee to monitor and expedite capital acquisition projects for the modernization of the armed forces. It will be headed by Vinay Sheel Oberoi.
संरक्षण मंत्री निर्मला सीतारामन यांनी सशस्त्र दलाच्या आधुनिकीकरणासाठी कॅपिटल अधिग्रहण प्रकल्पांची पाहणी करण्यासाठी तातडीने 13 सदस्यीय सल्लागार समिती स्थापन केली आहे.  याची अध्यक्षता विनय शील ओबेरॉय करतील.

8. The National Meet on Grassroot Informatics- VIVID 2018 has been started in New Delhi.
ग्रासरूट इन्फॉरमॅटिक्स वर राष्ट्रीय बैठक- VIVID 2018 नवी दिल्लीमध्ये सुरु झाली आहे.

9. The Union Cabinet approved schemes worth about Rs 14,930 crore to boost the availability of human resources for health and medical sector, including the establishment of 24 new medical colleges in unreserved areas.
आरोग्य आणि वैद्यकीय क्षेत्रासाठी मानवी संसाधनांची उपलब्धता वाढविण्यासाठी केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडळाने 14,930 कोटी रुपयांच्या योजना राबविल्या, ज्यामध्ये अनारक्षित भागात 24 नवीन वैद्यकीय महाविद्यालयाची स्थापना समाविष्ट आहे.

10. The Union cabinet approved a proposal to implement the Prime Minister’s Research Fellows (PMRF) scheme. Under this scheme, the top 3,000 B.tech graduates of the country will get grants to pursue a PhD in the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and Indian Institute of Science (IISc).
केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडळाने पंतप्रधानांच्या रिसर्च फेलो (पीएमआरएफ) योजनेची अंमलबजावणी करण्यासाठी एक प्रस्ताव मंजूर केला. या योजनेअंतर्गत देशाच्या टॉप 3,000 बी.टे.चे  पदवीधरांना  इंडियन इंस्टिट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नॉलॉजी (आयआयटी) आणि इंडियन इन्स्टिट्यूट ऑफ सायन्स (आयआयएससी) मध्ये पीएचडी करणाऱ्यांना अनुदान मिळेल.
