1. Maldives and Sri Lanka have become the first two countries in the South-East Asia region to eliminate both measles and rubella ahead of the 2023 target.
मालदीव आणि श्रीलंका हे दक्षिण-पूर्व आशिया प्रदेशातील 2023 च्या लक्ष्याआधी गोवर आणि रुबेला या दोन्ही गोष्टींचे उच्चाटन करणारे पहिले दोन देश ठरले आहेत.

2. Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) has released $50 million in the first tranche of assistance to L&T Infrastructure Finance Ltd for funding Renewable Energy projects in the country.
एशियन इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर इन्व्हेस्टमेंट बँकेने (AIIB) एल अँड टी इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर फायनान्स लिमिटेडला देशातील नूतनीकरणयोग्य उर्जा प्रकल्पांना अर्थसहाय्य देण्यासाठी पहिल्यांदा $50 कोटी डॉलर्स जाहीर केले आहेत.

3. The Union cabinet approved an extension till end September for availing free cooking gas cylinders under the marque Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY).

4. The government approved setting up an agri-infra fund with a corpus of Rs 1 lakh crore to provide financial support to agri-entrepreneurs, start-ups, agri-tech players and farmer groups for infrastructure and logistics facilities.
पायाभूत सुविधा व रसद सुविधांसाठी कृषी-उद्योजक, स्टार्ट-अप्स, कृषी-तंत्रज्ञानाचे खेळाडू आणि शेतकरी गटांना आर्थिक सहाय्य देण्यासाठी सरकारने 1 लाख कोटी रुपयांच्या शेतीसह कृषी-इन्फ्रा निधी उभारण्यास मान्यता दिली.

5. A formal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) and the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) for data exchange between the two organizations.

6. The Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi approved a new pan India Central Sector Scheme under Agriculture Infrastructure Fund. The main objective of the scheme is to provide a medium-long term debt financing facility for investment in viable projects for post-harvest management Infrastructure and community farming assets through interest subvention and financial support
पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांच्या अध्यक्षतेखालील केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडळाने कृषी पायाभूत सुविधा निधी अंतर्गत नवीन पॅन इंडिया सेंट्रल सेक्टर योजनेस मान्यता दिली. हंगामानंतर पोस्ट व्यवस्थापन, आर्थिक सुविधा व आर्थिक सहाय्य याद्वारे पायाभूत सुविधा व सामुदायिक शेती मालमत्ता यांच्या व्यवहार्य प्रकल्पांसाठी गुंतवणूकीसाठी मध्यम-मुदतीसाठी कर्जपुरवठा करणे ही या योजनेचे मुख्य उद्दीष्ट आहे.

10. Veteran Bollywood actor Jagdeep, known for his work in films such as Sholay, Andaz Apna Apna and Purana Mandir, has died. He was 81.
शोले, अंदाज अपना अपना आणि पुराना मंदिर अशा चित्रपटात काम करण्यासाठी प्रसिद्ध असलेले बॉलिवूड अभिनेते जगदीप यांचे निधन झाले आहे. ते 81 वर्षांचे होते.
