1. The esteemed National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE) is undergoing a transformation, gearing up to rebrand itself and expand its scope as it transitions to become the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Mumbai.

2. In a span of 14 years, India has demonstrated remarkable strides in fulfilling its pledge to reduce its carbon footprint. Between 2005 and 2019, the country has notably achieved a substantial reduction of 33% in its greenhouse gas emissions rate.

5. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Academy, a crucial institution for crime investigation and law enforcement training, has become the 10th member of the Interpol Global Academy Network.

6. In August 2023, the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) officially granted approval and appointed Amit Jhingran as the Managing Director & CEO of SBI Life Insurance Company.

8. In August 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the e-portal of ‘Bhartiya Vastra evam Shilp Kosh’ – a Repository of Textiles and Crafts. This initiative was developed by the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in collaboration with the Ministry of Textiles. The launch event took place in Delhi.
