1. The Government has made five new decisions to help Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) increase their income and create more job opportunities in rural areas. These decisions are in line with the Prime Minister’s vision of “Sahkar Se Samridhi.” The aim is to support and promote the growth of PACS, which play a crucial role in providing credit and financial services to farmers and rural communities.

6. Due to the record rise in Unified Payments Interface (UPI) transactions in India, banks and UPI apps have made the decision to impose daily limits on UPI transactions. These additional limits will be in addition to the limits already set by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) in 2021. The move aims to manage the increasing volume of UPI transactions effectively and ensure the smooth functioning of the digital payment system.
