1. Retired Gauhati High Court judge Pranoy Kumar Musahary appointed as the first chairperson of Lokayukta in Meghalaya.

3. Scientists, including those of Indian origin, have created a bionic device that generates green power by 3D-printing clusters of cyanobacteria on an ordinary white button mushroom.

4. India’s largest container port JNPT is planning to host an edible oil refinery to maximise revenue and ensure captive cargo. The port already has a liquid cargo terminal in addition to the 4 container terminals.
