1. BSNL launched India’s first internet telephony service, to enable making calls without SIM.Now BSNL customers will be able to make calls using the company’s mobile app “Wings” to any phone number in the country.
बीएसएनएलने भारताबाहेर पहिले इंटरनेट टेलिफोनी सेवा सुरू केली आहे, ज्यायोगे सिम शिवाय कॉल्स करणे शक्य होईल. आता बीएसएनएल ग्राहक देशभरातील कोणत्याही फोन नंबरवर कंपनीच्या मोबाईल एप “Wings” चा उपयोग करून कॉल करू शकणार आहेत.

2. Odisha Govt ordered to ban use of plastic in phases from October 2.
ओडिशा सरकारने 2 ऑक्टोबरपासून टप्प्याटप्प्याने प्लास्टिकच्या वापरावर बंदी आणण्याचे आदेश दिले आहेत

3. In order to reduce electricity losses, the Maharashtra government will launch a new scheme allocating “one transformer per farmer”.
विजेचे नुकसान कमी करण्यासाठी, महाराष्ट्र सरकार “एक शेतकऱ्यांकरिता एक ट्रांसफॉर्मर” ही एक नवीन योजना सुरु करणार आहे.

4. The market capitalisation of the listed firms of Deepak Parekh-led financial services conglomerate HDFC group crossed Rs 10 lakh crore mark. It is only the second Indian business group to achieve this feat after Tata Group.
दीपक पारेख यांच्या नेतृत्वाखालील एचडीएफसी वित्तीय सेवा गटाने यादीबद्ध कंपन्यांचे बाजार भांडवल 10 लाख कोटी रुपये ओलांडला आहे. टाटा समूह नंतर ही दुसरी कंपनी समूह आहे ज्यांनी हा आकडा पार केला आहे.

5. According to Global Innovation Index (GII) 2018, China broke into the world’s top 20 most-innovative economies. Switzerland has topped this list while India is at 57th place in the list. This annual ranking has been published by Cornell University, INSEAD and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
ग्लोबल इनोव्हेशन इंडेक्स (जीआयआय) 2018 नुसार, चीन जगातील सर्वाधिक 20 सर्वात अभिनव अर्थव्यवस्थेमध्ये प्रवेश करत आहे. या यादीत स्विर्त्झलंड पहिल्या क्रमांकावर असून भारताचा क्रमांक 57 व्या स्थानावर आहे. कॉर्नेल विद्यापीठ, इनसीड आणि जागतिक बौद्धिक संपत्ती संघटना (डब्ल्यूआयपीओ) या वार्षिक रँकिंगद्वारे प्रकाशित केले गेले आहे.

6. Indian naval ship INS Sumitra became the first-ever warship to enter port of Sabang in Indonesia.
इंडियन नौसेनाची युद्धपोत INS सुमित्रा इंडोनेशियात साबांग  बंदरात प्रवेश करणारी पहिली युद्धनौका ठरली आहे.

7. The first “India Tourism Mart (ITM)” will be organized in New Delhi from 16th to 18th September 2018.
पहिला “इंडिया टुरिझम मार्ट (आयटीएम)” नवी दिल्लीमध्ये 16 ते 18 सप्टेंबर 2018 आयोजित केला जाईल.

8.  According to property consultant CBRE, New Delhi’s Connaught Place has moved one position higher to become ninth most expensive office location in the world with an annual rent of $153 (Rs 10, 512 approx.) per sq. ft.
प्रॉपर्टी कन्सल्टंट सीबीआरईने केलेल्या पाहणीनुसार, कनॉट प्लेस जगातील 9व्या क्रमांकाचे महाग कार्यालयीन ठिकाण बनले आहे. येथे, चौरस फुटाचे सरासरी भाडे $153 (सुमारे 10,527) पर्यंत पोहोचले आहे.

9. US President Donald Trump nominated Foreign Service officer David Hale as the Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs. He is currently the US Ambassador to Pakistan.
अमेरिकेचे अध्यक्ष डोनाल्ड ट्रम्प यांनी परराष्ट्र मंत्रालयाच्या विदेश मंत्रालयातील तिसरे सर्वांत अधिक पदाधिकारी असलेले राज्य सचिव डेव्हिड हले यांना नामांकन दिले आहे.  ते सध्या पाकिस्तानमध्ये अमेरिकेचे राजदूत आहेत.

10. DCM Shriram Industries Group will set up India’s first private sector unit for manufacturing Unmanned Air Vehicles (UAV) and Light Bullet Proof Vehicles (LBPV), on the campus of Shriram Rayons in Kota, under ‘Make in India’ initiative of the union government
डीसीएम श्रीराम इंडस्ट्रीज ग्रुप केंद्र सरकारच्या ‘मेक इन इंडिया’ पुढाकाराने कोटा येथील श्रीराम रायनच्या कॅम्पसवर, इंमॅनान्स एअर वाहने (यूएव्ही) आणि लाइट बुलेट प्रूफ वाहनांची (एलबीपीव्ही) निर्मितीसाठी भारतातील पहिले खाजगी क्षेत्र उभारणार आहे.
