1. ISRO, in partnership with Vijnana Bharati, is conducting an exhibition named “Space on Wheels” in Arunachal Pradesh. The aim is to offer students from schools and colleges valuable insights into ISRO’s activities and India’s space missions.

3. ISRO is scheduled to launch the “Gaganyaan” Test Vehicle Space flight, specifically the “Gaganyaan” Test Vehicle Development flight (TV-D1) on October 21. This test flight will evaluate the effectiveness of the Crew Escape System, a vital component of the “Gaganyaan” mission, with the aim of conducting both unmanned and manned missions to outer space by 2024.

4. India’s net direct tax collections have shown impressive growth, increasing by 21.8% to reach ₹9.57 lakh crore by October 9. This achievement has exceeded more than half of the Budget estimates for 2023. Notably, personal income tax revenues saw a significant rise of 32.5%, while corporate taxes increased by 12.4%.
भारताच्या निव्वळ प्रत्यक्ष कर संकलनात प्रभावी वाढ दिसून आली आहे, 21.8% ने वाढून 9 ऑक्टोबरपर्यंत ₹9.57 लाख कोटींवर पोहोचले आहे. या यशाने 2023 च्या अर्थसंकल्पीय अंदाजापेक्षा निम्म्याहून अधिक वाढ केली आहे. विशेष म्हणजे, वैयक्तिक आयकर महसुलात 32.5%ची लक्षणीय वाढ झाली आहे.तर कॉर्पोरेट कर 12.4% ने वाढले.

5. During the initial five months of the financial year 2023-24 (FY24), India’s fiscal deficit reached Rs 6.42 trillion. This amount constitutes 36% of the full-year target of Rs 17.87 trillion. In comparison, during the same period in FY23, the fiscal deficit was at 32.6% of the full-year target.
