1. China successfully launched a new Earth observation satellite Gaofen-3 Jiuquan Satellite Launch Centre on board a Long March-4C rocket.
चीनने लॉंग मार्च-4सी रॉकेटवर नवीन पृथ्वी निरीक्षण उपग्रह गाओफेन-3 जिउक्वान उपग्रह प्रक्षेपण केंद्र यशस्वीरित्या प्रक्षेपित केले.

2. The country’s tallest in-patient department building will be built at the Government Sawai Man Singh Hospital in Jaipur, Rajasthan in the next 32 months.
येत्या 32 महिन्यांत राजस्थानमधील जयपूर येथील सरकारी सवाई मानसिंग रुग्णालयात देशातील सर्वात उंच रूग्ण विभागाची इमारत बांधली जाईल.

3. The Reserve Bank of India has imposed a penalty of Rs 93 lakh each on Axis Bank and IDBI Bank for non-compliance with certain directions issued by RBI.
आरबीआयने जारी केलेल्या काही निर्देशांचे पालन न केल्याबद्दल रिझर्व्ह बँकेने ॲक्सिस बँक आणि आयडीबीआय बँकेला प्रत्येकी 93 लाख रुपयांचा दंड ठोठावला आहे.

4. While other countries across the planet are gradually relaxing their COVID related restrictions and urging their respective citizens that they will have to adjust to the COVID-19 virus, China is following a strict Zero-Covid policy.

5. On 14th April 2022, the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. The contribution of India’s prime ministers will be showcased in the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya.

6. The Amrit Samagam, a summit of the country’s cultural and tourism ministers was launched by Union Minister of Home Affairs, Amit Shah. This summit was launched in New Delhi.

7. The Waterways Conclave 2022 was organized by the Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) on 11th and 12th April 2022 in Dibrugarh, Assam.

8. The students of the country have been allowed to pursue two degrees simultaneously by the University Grants Commission. From the academic session of 2022-23, the students can start applying for these dual degree programmes.

9. M. Venkaiah Naidu, the Vice President on 13th April 2022 has conferred the International Gandhi Award for Leprosy, 2021 to Sahyog Kushtha Yagna Trust, Gujarat, and Dr. Bhushan Kumar of Chandigarh in New Delhi.

10. Rs.5911 crores have been approved by the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs for the continuation of the ‘Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan’ (RGSA).
