1. India’s 1st Online Radio Station ‘Radio Umang’ was launched recently in India. Listeners can tune in to this online radio station through web streaming or download the app. With 24 hours programming, it has found listeners in Hindi speaking regions of India and in over 60 countries worldwide.
भारतातील पहिले ऑनलाईन रेडिओ स्टेशन ‘रेडिओ उमंग’ अलीकडे भारतात सुरू करण्यात आले आहे. श्रोते वेब स्ट्रीमिंग किंवा ऍप डाउनलोड करुन या ऑनलाइन रेडिओ स्टेशनमध्ये ट्यून करू शकतात.

2. Kannada litterateur Chandrashekar Kambar elected as president of the Sahitya Akademi in the election held for the post. He replaced Vishwanath Prasad Tiwari.
कन्नड साहित्यिक चंद्रशेखर कंबर अध्यक्ष पदासाठी झालेल्या निवडणुकीत साहित्य अकादमीचे अध्यक्ष म्हणून निवडून आले. त्यांनी विश्वनाथ प्रसाद तिवारी यांची जागा घेतली.

3. State-owned Bank of Baroda decided to exit by March-end its South Africa operations after 21 years amid a probe into alleged compliance lapses by the bank there. The bank stated that it is exiting operations in South Africa as part of its strategic plan for rationalization of overseas branches.
सरकारी मालकीच्या बँक ऑफ बडोदाने बँकेच्या कथित पालनपोटीची चौकशी करण्याच्या 21 वर्षांच्या कालखंडात दक्षिण आफ्रिकेतील कामकाजातून बाहेर पडण्याचा निर्णय घेतला. बँकेने म्हटले की परदेशात असलेल्या शाखांच्या सुसूत्रीकरणासाठी त्याच्या रणनीतिक योजनांच्या अंमलबजावणीसाठी दक्षिण आफ्रिकेत ते कार्यरत आहेत.

4. World Radio Day is observed annually on 13 February. The theme for WRD 2018 is “Radio and Sports”.
13 फेब्रुवारी रोजी जागतिक रेडिओ दिवस दरवर्षी साजरा केला जातो. WRD 2018 ची थीम “रेडिओ आणि क्रीडा” आहे.

5. Indonesia’s Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati has won the ‘Best Minister in the World’ award at the World Government Summit in Dubai.
इंडोनेशियाचे अर्थमंत्री श्री मुल्यानी इंद्रावती यांनी दुबईतील जागतिक शासकीय परिषदेत ‘विश्वातील सर्वोत्कृष्ट मंत्री’ हा पुरस्कार प्राप्त केला.

6. Veteran filmmaker Ramesh Sippy will be conferred with the first ‘Raj Kapoor Award for Excellence in Cinema’.
ज्येष्ठ दिग्दर्शक रमेश सिप्पी यांना पहिल्यांदा राज कपूर पुरस्कार देऊन गौरविण्यात येणार आहे.

7. India will host the first International Solar Alliance (ISA) Summit on 11 March 2018, in Delhi.
भारत 11 मार्च 2018 रोजी दिल्लीत पहिले आंतरराष्ट्रीय सोलर एलायन्स (आयएसए) शिखर परिषद आयोजित करणार आहे.

8.  Software Company Zoho has tied up with private lender ICICI Bank to provide accounting and banking on an integrated platform.
सॉफ्टवेअर कंपनी जोहो यांनी एका खास प्लॅटफॉर्मवर अकाउंटिंग आणि बँकिंग देण्यासाठी खासगी ऋणदाता आयसीआयसीआय बँकशी करार केला आहे.

9. Australian cricket captain Steve Smith won the Allan Border Medal for the second time.
ऑस्ट्रेलियन क्रिकेट संघाचा कर्णधार स्टीव्ह स्मिथने अॅलन बॉर्डर मेडल दुसऱ्यांदा जिंकले.

10. According to Deutsche Bank, India’s economy is expected to grow at 7.5 percent in 2018-19.
ड्यूश बँकेच्या मते, 2018-19 मध्ये भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्थेचा 7.5 टक्के विकास होईल.
