1. Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Col Rajyavardhan Rathore on January 12, 2019, launched the National Youth Parliament Festival 2019 at a function in New Delhi.
12 जानेवारी 2019 रोजी  क्रीडा मंत्री राज्यवर्धन राठोड यांनी नवी दिल्ली येथे झालेल्या कार्यक्रमात राष्ट्रीय युवा संसद उत्सव 2019 लॉंच केला.

2. Namita Gokhale was awarded in the ‘Best Book of Fiction Written by a Woman Author’ category at the inaugural edition of Bhopal Literature and Art Festival.

3. Private sector lender IDFC Bank changed its name to IDFC First Bank Ltd owing to the merge of the bank with Non-Banking Finance Company Capital First on December 2018.खासगी क्षेत्रातील कर्जदार IDFC बँकने डिसेंबर 2018 रोजी नॉन-बँकिंग फायनान्स कंपनी कॅपिटल फर्स्टसह बँकेचे विलीनीकरण केल्यामुळे त्याचे नाव IDFC फर्स्ट बँक लिमिटेडमध्ये बदलले आहे.

4. Andhra Pradesh’s seventh airport at Orvakallu near Kurnool city was inaugurated by chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

5. Sikkim Chief Minister Pawan Kumar Chamling launched the ‘One Family One Job’ scheme, under which for every family one government job has been allotted, in Gangtok.

7. President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind gave his assent to the Constitution (One Hundred and Third Amendment) Act, 2019 which grants 10 percent reservation in jobs and educational institutions to the economically weaker sections in the general category.
भारताचे राष्ट्रपती, श्री रामनाथ कोविंद यांनी संविधान (103वी सुधारणा) कायदा, 201 9 मध्ये आपली अनुमती दिली जी सामान्य श्रेणीतील आर्थिकदृष्ट्या दुर्बल घटकांना रोजगार आणि शैक्षणिक संस्थांमध्ये 10 टक्के आरक्षण देते.

9. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) hired former Citi executive Daniel Houghes Callahan, 62, as an additional and independent director for 5 years.

10. Egypt will host the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations between June 15 and July 13, Confederation of African Football president Ahmad announced in Dakar.
