2. India is home to the world’s 2nd largest internet user base. According to Mary Meeker’s Internet Trends 2019 report, India accounts for 12% of the world’s internet users. China continues to be on top of the list, accounting for 21% of the total Internet users.
भारत जगातील दुसर्या क्रमांकाचा सर्वात मोठा इंटरनेट वापरकर्ता बेस आहे. मेरी मेकरच्या इंटरनेट ट्रेंड 2019 अहवालाच्या मते, जगातील इंटरनेट वापरकर्त्यांपैकी 12% भारताच्या खात्यात आहे. एकूण इंटरनेट वापरकर्त्यांपैकी 21% वाटा देणा-या यादीत चीन सर्वात आघाडीवर आहे.

3. India conducted a successful first test flight of the indigenously developed Hypersonic Technology Demonstrator Vehicle (HSTDV) from a base off the Odisha coast.

4. The government has reduced the rate of the contribution made by employees and employers under the Employees’ State Insurance (ESI) Act from 6.5 per cent to 4 per cent.

6. HCL Technologies is all set to roll out “Tech Bee”, a company initiative under which it trains and hires students who have completed Plus Two, across several states.

9. Gymnastics Federation of India announced the Indian team for the Senior Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championships. It is to be held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia from June 19 to 22.

10. In Uttar Pradesh, veteran journalist and former Rajya Sabha Member Rajanath Singh ‘Surya’ died in Lucknow. He was 82.
उत्तर प्रदेशमध्ये, अनुभवी पत्रकार आणि माजी राज्यसभा सदस्य राजनाथ सिंह ‘सूर्य’ लखनऊमध्ये निधन झाले. ते 82 वर्षांचे होते.
