7. The 12th edition of the joint military exercise between the Indian Army and the Maldives National Defence Force, called ‘Ex Ekuverin’, has commenced at Chaubatia in Uttarakhand. The exercise, which will take place from 11th to 24th June 2023, aims to enhance cooperation and interoperability between the two armed forces in various tactical scenarios and counter-insurgency operations.
भारतीय लष्कर आणि मालदीव नॅशनल डिफेन्स फोर्स यांच्यातील ‘एक्स एकुवेरिन’ या संयुक्त लष्करी सरावाची 12वी आवृत्ती उत्तराखंडमधील चौबटिया येथे सुरू झाली आहे. 11 ते 24 जून 2023 या कालावधीत होणार्‍या या सरावाचा उद्देश दोन्ही सशस्त्र दलांमधील विविध सामरिक परिस्थिती आणि बंडखोरीविरोधी कारवायांमध्ये सहकार्य आणि परस्पर कार्यक्षमता वाढवणे आहे.
