1. UAE is set to host the world’s foremost Artificial Intelligence, AI Summit to empower global dialogue on the future of government, business and society.
यूएई सरकार, व्यवसाय आणि समाजाच्या भविष्यातील जागतिक संभाषण सशक्त करण्यासाठी जगातील अग्रगण्य आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस, एआय शिखर परिषद आयोजित करणार आहे.

2. The world’s largest aeroplane designed by Stratolaunch with two fuselages and six Boeing 747 engines, made its first test flight in California, USA.
स्ट्रेटोलांचने डिझाइन केलेले जगातील सर्वात मोठे विमान दोन फ्युसेज आणि सहा बोईंग 747 इंजिनसह, कॅलिफोर्निया, यूएसए मधील पहिले टेस्ट उड्डाण केले.

3. The leader of Finland’s centre-left Social Democratic Party (SDP) Antti Rinne, has declared victory in the general election.
फिनलंडच्या सेंटर-डावे सोशल डेमोक्रेटिक पार्टी (एसडीपी) एन्टी रिने यांच्या नेत्यांनी सामान्य निवडणुकीत विजय जाहीर केला आहे.

4. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI), which classified IDBI as a private sector bank last month, has granted Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) with 12 years to cut its stake in the bank by 10 percent. RBI has stipulated that after 12 years LIC has to reduce stake in IDBI Bank by 10 per cent to 40 per cent. LIC is the major shareholder of IDBI Bank.
भारतीय रिजर्व बँकेने (आरबीआय) गेल्या महिन्यात खाजगी क्षेत्रातील बँक म्हणून वर्गीकृत केलेल्या लाइफ इन्शुरन्स कॉरपोरेशन (एलआयसी) ला 12 टक्के व्याजदर 10 टक्क्यांनी कमी केले आहे. आरबीआयने 12 वर्षानंतर एलआयसीने आयडीबीआय बँकेतील हिस्सा 10 टक्क्यांवरून 40 टक्क्यांपर्यंत कमी करणे आवश्यक आहे. एलआयसी आयडीबीआय बँकेचा प्रमुख भागधारक आहे.

5. Forbes has compiled a first-ever list of the World’s Best Bank 2019 in terms of customer services and technological advancements. The private lender, HDFC Bank, was ranked at the top of the ‘Forbes Best Indian Banks 2019’ list.
ग्राहक सेवा आणि तंत्रज्ञानाच्या प्रगतीनुसार फोर्ब्सने जगातील प्रथम बॅस्ट बँक 2019 ची प्रथम सूची संकलित केली आहे. ‘फोर्ब्स बेस्ट इंडियन बँक्स 201 9’ यादीत शीर्षस्थानी एचडीएफसी बँक आहे.

6. The Central government appointed Gargi Kaul as Secretary, Defence Finance. She is a 1984-batch officer of the Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA&AS).
केंद्र सरकारने गार्गी कौल यांना संरक्षण वित्त सचिव म्हणून नियुक्त केले आहे. त्या भारतीय लेखा व लेखा सेवा (आयए आणि एएस) च्या 1984-बॅच अधिकारी आहेत.

7.  Bharti Airtel has launched a mobile app, “My Circle” in collaboration with FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) to assist women in case they face any panic situation or problem.
भारती एअरटेलने FICCI लेडीज ऑर्गनायझेशन (एफएलओ) च्या सहकार्याने “माय सर्कल” मोबाईल ॲप लॉन्च केले आहे. ज्यायोगे स्त्रियांना कोणतीही भीती किंवा समस्या असल्यास त्यांना मदत करणे शक्य होईल.

8. India finished with 5 medals in the  Boxing World Cup which concluded at Cologne, Germany.

9. British racing driver, Lewis Hamilton has achieved his 75th career victory in Formula One’s 1000th race at the Chinese Grand Prix on 14th April, 2019.
ब्रिटीश रेसिंग ड्रायव्हर लुईस हॅमिल्टनने 14 एप्रिल 2019 रोजी चीनी ग्रँड प्रिक्समध्ये फॉर्म्युला वनच्या 1000 व्या रेसमध्ये करिअरमधील 75वे विजेतेपद पटकावले आहे.

10. Dr. A K Singh, director at Life Sciences, DRDO has been honoured with Lifetime Achievement Award 2019 during 4th APJ Abdul Kalam Innovation Conclave at Chandigarh University, Mohali.
