1. National Press Day is celebrated on 16th November 2019. It is celebrated every year. The day marks the presence of free and responsible press.

2. International Day for Tolerance is observed on 16 November every year. The day aims to strengthen tolerance by fostering mutual understanding among cultures and peoples.

3. The Driving Cities Index released by European car parts retailer Mister Auto, a part of the PSA Group, reported that Mumbai and Kolkata had been rated as the world’s worst cities to drive in 2019.

4. CCI approved Adani Properties’ acquisition of 23.5% stake in the country’s second-busiest aerodrome Mumbai International Airport.
सीसीआयने अदानी प्रॉपर्टीजच्या देशाच्या दुस -्या-व्यस्त एअरोड्रोम मुंबई आंतरराष्ट्रीय विमानतळाच्या 23.5% भागभांडवलाच्या अधिग्रहणाला मान्यता दिली.

5. The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved the merger of the BNP Paribas (BNPP) Mutual Fund and the Baroda (BOB) Mutual Fund, under the Competition Act, 2002.
भारतीय स्पर्धा आयोगाने (सीसीआय) बीएनपी परिबास (बीएनपीपी) म्युच्युअल फंड आणि बडोदा (बीओबी) म्युच्युअल फंडाच्या विलीनीकरणाला स्पर्धा अधिनियम 2002 अंतर्गत मान्यता दिली आहे.

6. The Government of India appointed Justice Ravi Ranjan as the Chief Justice of the Jharkhand High Court.

7. India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) appointed G.Kamala Vardhana Rao as the new Chairman and Managing Director of the department.

8. Ministry of Women and Child Development is to announce the Bharatiya Poshan Krishi Kosh (BPKK) on 18 November 2019 in New Delhi. The announcement will be made by the Union Minister of Women and Child Development (WCD) and Textiles, Smriti Zubin Irani, in a function.

9. Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) is to lend a $500-million loan to develop a suburban rail network in Mumbai. It will also fund $75 million to help finance renewable energy projects in India.
एशियन इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर इन्व्हेस्टमेंट बँक (AIIB) मुंबईत उपनगरीय रेल्वे नेटवर्क विकसित करण्यासाठी 500 दशलक्ष डॉलर्स कर्ज देणार आहे. तसेच भारतातील अक्षय ऊर्जा प्रकल्पांना अर्थसहाय्य करण्यासाठी 75 दशलक्ष डॉलर्सची तरतूद केली जाईल.
