1. Ministry of Water resources and River development has organized 9th International Micro irrigation conference in Aurangabad, Maharashtra.
जल संसाधन आणि नदी विकास मंत्रालयाने औरंगाबाद, महाराष्ट्र येथे 9व्या आंतरराष्ट्रीय सूक्ष्म सिंचन परिषदेचे आयोजन केले आहे.

2. 49 institutions of India have made it to the prestigious university rankings of Times Higher Education Emerging Economies. Out of these 49 institutions, 25 have made it to top 200 institutions. According to the London-based ‘Times Higher Education’, China remains the most represented nation in the annual 2019 listing.
या वर्षातील टाइम्स उच्च शिक्षणाच्या प्रतिष्ठित उभरती अर्थशास्त्र विद्यापीठांच्या रँकिंगमध्ये, 49 भारतीय संस्थांची निवड झाली आहे. 49 पैकी 25 संस्था प्रथम 200 प्रथम विद्यापीठात आहेत. लंडन-आधारित टाइम्स उच्च शिक्षणानुसार चीन 2019 च्या यादीत सर्वाधिक स्थान प्राप्त करण्याच्या बाबतीत प्रथम क्रमांकावर आहे.

3. India committed to purchase USD 5 billion worth of oil and gas from the US per annum and USD 18 billion worth of defence equipment that are under implementation, a top Indian diplomat here said, highlighting the growing bilateral trade cooperation.
अमेरिकेतून दरवर्षी 5 बिलियन अमेरिकन डॉलर्सचे तेल आणि गॅस खरेदी करणे आणि 18 अब्ज अमेरिकन डॉलर्सचे संरक्षण उपकरण अंमलबजावणीसाठी भारत वचनबद्ध आहे, असे उच्च भारतीय राजदूत यांनी सांगितले.

7. The world’s first television channel dedicated to human rights was launched in London by the International Observatory of Human Rights (IOHR).

महाराष्ट्र विधान परिषदेचे माजी अध्यक्ष व माजी अध्यक्ष शिवाजीराव देशमुख यांचे निधन झाले. ते 84 वर्षांचे होते.
