1. Moody’s Investors Service slashed India’s growth forecast to 5.4 per cent for 2020 from 6.6 percent predicted earlier.

2. The National Company Law Appellate Tribunal has approved the ₹19,700-crore resolution plan of JSW Steel to takeover the bankrupt Bhushan Power and Steel.
नॅशनल कंपनी लॉ अपील ट्रिब्यूनलने जेएसडब्ल्यू स्टीलच्या दिवाळखोर भूषण पॉवर आणि स्टील ताब्यात घेण्यासाठी केलेल्या ₹19,700 कोटींच्या ठरावाच्या योजनेस मान्यता दिली आहे.

3. The 17th edition of Bio Asia 2020 is being held in Hyderabad, Telangana. It is considered as Asia’s largest Biotechnology and Life Sciences Forum. The forum is being held from 17-19 February 2020.

4. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) approved the proposal to segregate investment advisory and distribution services. Under this, individual investment advisors cannot provide distribution services to clients.
भारतीय सुरक्षा आणि विनिमय मंडळाने (सेबी) गुंतवणूक सल्लागार आणि वितरण सेवा वेगळ्या करण्याच्या प्रस्तावाला मान्यता दिली. या अंतर्गत वैयक्तिक गुंतवणूक सल्लागार ग्राहकांना वितरण सेवा देऊ शकत नाहीत.

5. The Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas & Steel Dharmendra Pradhan reviewed the preparations and instructed the implementing officials to speed up the efforts for the implementation of BS-VI on 1 April 2020.

8. National Anti Doping Agency (NADA) has banned javelin thrower Amit Dahiya for four years for evading sample collection and trying to cheat officials during the 2nd National Javelin Throw Open Championship 2019 held at SAI Centre in Sonipat.
