1. The European Union has recently developed a greater apprehension regarding the generative artificial intelligence (AI) technologies utilised by major technology companies such as Microsoft. This is because these technologies may pose a threat during the upcoming EU elections, which will be held throughout the 27-member bloc from June 6th to June 9th.
युरोपियन युनियनने अलीकडेच मायक्रोसॉफ्ट सारख्या मोठ्या तंत्रज्ञान कंपन्यांद्वारे वापरल्या जाणाऱ्या जनरेटिव्ह आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजन्स (AI) तंत्रज्ञानाबाबत मोठी भीती निर्माण केली आहे. कारण 6 जून ते 9 जून या कालावधीत 27-सदस्यीय गटामध्ये होणाऱ्या आगामी EU निवडणुकांमध्ये या तंत्रज्ञानामुळे धोका निर्माण होऊ शकतो.

2. India recently surpassed the significant payment milestone of $100 billion. It surpassed $112 billion during the fiscal year 2022–23. A remarkable $29 billion was repatriated to India during the December quarter at this zenith. This indicates that money sent back to India is increasing significantly.

6. Two of the most senior district judges in Himachal Pradesh recently petitioned the Supreme Court with complaints that their seniority and merit were disregarded during the selection process for judges by the Himachal Pradesh HC collegium.
Concerns are raised regarding the extent to which the process established by the Supreme Court for selecting High Court judges is adhered to. A petition advocating for the reinstatement of the National Judicial Appointments Commission (NJAC) and the cessation of the Collegium system of judicial appointments was denied acceptance by the Supreme Court registry in April.
