1. Leh has made the first step in developing an IT industry. The Additional Director General of Police for Ladakh, SS Khandare, has inaugurated Ethosh Digital’s first IT Training and Services Center in Leh.

8. A new species of shrimp has been discovered by scientists from the ICAR-National Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources (NBFGR). The newly discovered species has been named Actinimenes koyas.
ICAR-नॅशनल ब्युरो ऑफ फिश जेनेटिक रिसोर्सेस (NBFGR) च्या शास्त्रज्ञांनी कोळंबीची एक नवीन प्रजाती शोधून काढली आहे. नव्याने सापडलेल्या प्रजातीला ऍक्टिनिमनेस कोया असे नाव देण्यात आले आहे.

9. The rules of the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) have been amended by the government to pave way for up to 20 per cent of foreign direct investment (FDI) in the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC). The central government also intends to reduce its stake in LIC through an Initial Public Offering (IPO).
भारतीय आयुर्विमा महामंडळ (LIC) मध्ये 20 टक्क्यांपर्यंत थेट परकीय गुंतवणुकीसाठी (FDI) मार्ग मोकळा करण्यासाठी सरकारने फॉरेन एक्स्चेंज मॅनेजमेंट ऍक्ट (FEMA) च्या नियमांमध्ये सुधारणा केली आहे. प्रारंभिक सार्वजनिक ऑफरिंग (IPO) द्वारे LIC मधील आपला हिस्सा कमी करण्याचा केंद्र सरकारचा मानस आहे.
