1. The International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) has released the Global Food Policy Report, 2023. The report stresses the importance of investing in long-term solutions to build resilient and equitable food systems.

2. The Indian government has taken steps to regulate the Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) industry, which includes treatments like in vitro fertilization (IVF) for infertility. 3. RHESSI is a satellite launched by NASA more than 20 years ago that studies solar flares, which are bursts of energy emitted by the sun. It provides valuable information about these phenomena through its observations from orbit around the Earth.

4. Scientists from the Indian Institute of Geomagnetism (IIG) have studied a type of plasma waves called Electromagnetic Ion Cyclotron (EMIC) waves, which were observed in the Earth’s magnetosphere at the Indian Antarctic station, Maitri.

5. The National Health Authority has recently invited participation in the National Health Claims Exchange (HCX)-Sandbox under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM).

6. The Animal Birth Control Rules, 2023 have been notified by the Central Government on March 10th, 2023, under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Act, 1960. These rules supersede the Animal Birth Control (Dog) Rules, 2001 and address the 2009 guidelines of the Supreme Court issued during the hearing between Animal Welfare Board of India.
प्राणी जन्म नियंत्रण नियम, 2023 केंद्र सरकारने 10 मार्च, 2023 रोजी प्रिव्हेंशन ऑफ क्रुएल्टी टू ॲनिमल ऍक्ट, 1960 अंतर्गत अधिसूचित केले आहेत. हे नियम प्राणी जन्म नियंत्रण (कुत्रा) नियम, 2001 चे स्थान देतात आणि 2009 च्या मार्गदर्शक तत्त्वांना संबोधित करतात. ॲनिमल वेल्फेअर बोर्ड ऑफ इंडिया यांच्यात झालेल्या सुनावणीदरम्यान सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाने हे आदेश जारी केले.

7. The Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has approved a proposal that aims to make the Authority Holding Sealed Particulars (AHSP) process more industry-friendly. AHSP is a mechanism used by the Defence Ministry to protect sensitive technical information related to military equipment and platforms during procurement. The proposed reforms seek to streamline the AHSP process and make it more transparent, predictable, and efficient. This is expected to boost the participation of private sector firms in defence procurement and increase the competitiveness of the Indian defence industry.
भारताचे संरक्षण मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह यांनी प्राधिकरण होल्डिंग सीलबंद तपशील (AHSP) प्रक्रिया अधिक उद्योग-अनुकूल बनवण्याच्या उद्देशाने प्रस्तावाला मंजुरी दिली आहे. 8. A World Trade Organization (WTO) Panel has ruled against India in a dispute with the European Union (EU) and other countries over tariffs on information technology (IT) products. The panel found that India had violated the WTO’s Information Technology Agreement (ITA) by imposing tariffs on IT products such as mobile phones and printers, which were supposed to be duty-free. The EU and other countries had filed a complaint with the WTO in 2019, alleging that India had imposed tariffs on these products that were higher than the bound rates it had committed to in the ITA.’
माहिती तंत्रज्ञान (IT) उत्पादनांवरील शुल्काबाबत युरोपियन युनियन (EU) आणि इतर देशांसोबतच्या वादात जागतिक व्यापार संघटना (WTO) पॅनेलने भारताविरुद्ध निर्णय दिला आहे. भारताने मोबाइल फोन आणि प्रिंटर यांसारख्या आयटी उत्पादनांवर शुल्क लादून डब्ल्यूटीओच्या माहिती तंत्रज्ञान कराराचे (आयटीए) उल्लंघन केल्याचे पॅनेलला आढळले, जे शुल्कमुक्त असावेत.
