| 1. The Tamil Nadu Space Industrial Policy 2025 was just authorized by the cabinet of Tamil Nadu. With this policy, the state hopes to establish leadership in high-value manufacturing and space innovation. It reflects the revised draft policy published in July 2024. Being the first state in India with a focused space sector strategy, Gujarat has recently unveiled its SpaceTech strategy for 2025–2030. Both plans center on luring capital and supporting space industry employment development.
तामिळनाडूच्या मंत्रिमंडळाने तामिळनाडू अंतराळ औद्योगिक धोरण २०२५ ला नुकतेच मान्यता दिली. या धोरणाद्वारे, राज्याला उच्च-मूल्य उत्पादन आणि अंतराळ नवोपक्रमात नेतृत्व स्थापित करण्याची आशा आहे. ते जुलै २०२४ मध्ये प्रकाशित झालेल्या सुधारित मसुदा धोरणाचे प्रतिबिंब आहे. अंतराळ क्षेत्रावर लक्ष केंद्रित करणारी भारतातील पहिली राज्य असल्याने, गुजरातने अलीकडेच २०२५-२०३० साठीची स्पेसटेक रणनीती जाहीर केली आहे. दोन्ही योजना भांडवल आकर्षित करणे आणि अंतराळ उद्योग रोजगार विकासाला पाठिंबा देणे यावर केंद्रित आहेत. |
| 2. Since its 2013 launch, India’s Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system has transformed social provision. It has reached amazing efficiency by 2025, saving Rs 3.48 lakh crore and halfing subsidy allocations. From 11 crore beneficiaries, the system now counts 176 crore. This expansion emphasizes the need of openness and digitalization in welfare administration.

A distinguished accolade for outstanding achievements in military reconnaissance and adventure is the MacGregor Memorial Medal For their accomplishments in 2023 and 2024, five military members just were given this distinction. Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan presided over the award ceremony at the United Service Institution of India.

| 4. The Balikatan joint military exercise including the United States, Australia, and Japan is scheduled to take place in the Philippines. It will begin April 21, 2025 and finish May 9, 2025. Japan is scheduled to formally take part in this inaugural exercise. The drills will mostly concentrate on protecting the islands of Palawan and Luzon, which are near sensitive areas of the South China Sea and the Luzon Strait respectively. In a past exercise, Balikatan 2023, American and Philippine soldiers tested their capacity to obey directions during a ship-sinking training, therefore fostering teamwork.

| 5. By proving its first Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) transmission across a 4-core Multi-Core Fibre (MCF), India has now reached a quantum communication milestone. This discovery represents a very significant turning point in the country’s quest of safe digital communication systems. The passing test indicates India’s will to create strong quantum encryption systems necessary for protection of important data.

| 6. Officially signing an agreement with India to build up headquarters and main office within the nation is the International Big Cat Alliance (IBCA). This occurred more than two months following the treaty-based full international organization status of IBCA. The pact offers India the backing required for its effective operation and lets it house the main office of the IBCA. Details on visas, unique rights and safeguards for IBCA personnel and offices, how the agreement would start, and other pertinent issues also abound in the pact.
