1. The Goods and Services Tax or GST Council has fixed a uniform tax rate of 28 per cent on both state-run and private lottery.

2. Rural Development Minister Narendra Singh Tomar launched Phase-III of Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in New Delhi to further enhance connectivity of villages with hospitals, schools and agricultural markets.

4. French carmaker PSA and US-Italian rival Fiat Chrysler have signed an agreement to create the world’s fourth largest automaker.

6. Union Minister for Health & Family Welfare Dr. Harsh Vardhan inaugurated the new Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) Wellness Centre at Vikaspuri, New Delhi.

7. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has instructed banks to make all online payments done through National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT) and Real-time gross settlement (RTGS) free of cost for savings account holders.

8. The US National Science Foundation (NSF) reported that India has become the world’s third-largest publisher of science and engineering articles. It has published over 1.35 lakh scientific papers. China topped the report as the world’s largest publisher.

10. Edelweiss Asset Management Company has issued the first Bharat Bond ETF, the corporate bond exchange-traded fund in the country. The bond issue will close on 20 December 2019.
एडलविस एसेट मॅनेजमेंट कंपनीने देशातील कॉर्पोरेट बाँड एक्सचेंज-ट्रेडेड फंड पहिला भारत बाँड ईटीएफ जारी केला आहे. बाँडचा मुद्दा 20 डिसेंबर 2019 रोजी बंद होईल.
