1. Indian Railways has created history by converting a diesel locomotive into electric locomotive for the first time in the world. PM Modi flags off 1st ever diesel to electric conversion locomotive.
भारतीय रेल्वेने जगात पहिल्यांदाच डीजल लोकोमोटिव्हला इलेक्ट्रिक लोकोमोटिव्हमध्ये बदल करून इतिहास रचला आहे.  पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी सदर घटनेचे उद्घाटन केले.

2. The 10-day long Taj Mahotsav started on the theme of “Parampara”. The Mahotsav is inaugurated on February 18 at Shilpgram, near the Eastern gate of “Taj Mahal” by UP governor Ram Naik and the closing ceremony will be held on February 27.
10 दिवसांचा ताज महोत्सव “परम्परा” च्या थीमवर सुरू झाला. महोत्सवचे उद्घाटन 18 फेब्रुवारी रोजी उत्तर प्रदेशचे राज्यपाल राम नाईक यांनी “ताजमहल” च्या पूर्व गेटजवळ शिलांगगिरी येथे केले होते आणि शेवटचा कार्यक्रम 27 फेब्रुवारीला होणार आहे.

3. Home Minister Rajnath Singh launched Emergency Response Support System (ERSS) in 16 states and Union territories for women safety.
गृहमंत्री राजनाथ सिंह यांनी 16 राज्यांत आणि केंद्रशासित प्रदेशांमध्ये महिला सुरक्षेसाठी आपत्कालीन प्रतिसाद समर्थन प्रणाली (ERSS) सुरू केली.

4. Union Minister of Textiles, Smriti Zubin Irani, laid the foundation stone of a Hastshilp Complex in New Delhi.

5. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) will pay Rs 28,000 crore as interim dividend to the government.
रिझर्व्ह बँक ऑफ इंडिया (आरबीआय) सरकारला अंतरिम लाभांश म्हणून 28,000 कोटी रुपये देणार आहे.

6. The country’s second-largest IT services firm Infosys launched the ‘InfyTQ’ app. It is a digital platform to offer learning and engagement experiences to engineering students in the country.
देशातील सर्वात मोठी आयटी सेवा संस्था इन्फोसिसने ‘InfyTQ’ ॲप लॉन्च केले आहे. देशातील अभियांत्रिकी अभ्यासासाठी शिक्षण आणि प्रतिबद्धता अनुभव देण्यासाठी हा एक डिजिटल मंच आहे.

7. The Congress government in Madhya Pradesh has decided to host the 79th Indian History Congress (IHC) in Bhopal.
मध्य प्रदेशातील काँग्रेस सरकारने भोपाळमधील 79व्या भारतीय इतिहास काँग्रेस (आयएचसी) चे आयोजन करण्याचा निर्णय घेतला आहे.

8. According to a survey conducted by the Social Justice and Empowerment Ministry, about 16 crore (14.6 per cent) Indians in the 10-75 age group consume alcohol. Chhattisgarh, Tripura, Punjab, Arunachal Pradesh and Goa have the highest prevalence of liquor use. After alcohol, cannabis and opioids are the next commonly-used substances in India.

9. Global cybersecurity company Symantec has launched ‘Email Fraud Protection’, an automated solution, to help organizations block fraudulent emails from reaching enterprises. It aims to reduce workload for IT departments and eliminate the need to manually manage email security configurations while combating Business Email Compromise attacks.
ग्लोबल सायबर सुरक्षा कंपनी सिमेंटेक यांनी ‘ईमेल फ्राउड प्रोटेक्शन’, एक स्वयंचलित प्रणाली लॉंच केली आहे, ज्यायोगे संस्थांना पोहोचण्यापासून फसव्या ईमेलला अवरोधित करण्यात मदत होते. आयटी विभागांसाठी वर्कलोड कमी करणे आणि व्यवसाय ईमेल तडजोड हल्ल्यांचा सामना करताना ईमेल सुरक्षा कॉन्फिगरेशनचे व्यक्तिचालित व्यवस्थापन करण्याची आवश्यकता दूर करणे हा उद्देश्य आहे.

10. World number nine Saina Nehwal became the national champion for the fourth time, defeating world number six PV Sindhu in the women’s singles final of Senior National Badminton Championship.
जागतिक क्रमवारीत नऊ क्रमांक मिळविणारी सायना नेहवाल चौथ्यांदा राष्ट्रीय विजेता ठरली. सीनियर नॅशनल बॅडमिंटन चॅम्पियनशिपच्या महिला एकल फाइनलमध्ये जागतिक क्रमवारीत सहाव्या स्थानावर असलेल्या पी. व्ही. सिंधूचा पराभव केला.
