1. Uganda’s incumbent President Yoweri Museveni has been declared as the winner of the country’s presidential election for 2021.
युगांडाचे विद्यमान राष्ट्राध्यक्ष योवेरी म्यूसेव्हिनी यांना 2021 च्या देशाच्या अध्यक्षीय निवडणुकीत विजयी घोषित केले गेले.

2. The first-ever National Road Safety Month (January 18-February 17) was inaugurated by Union Minister for Defence Shri Rajnath Singh and Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways & MSME Shri Nitin Gadkari.
केंद्रीय रस्ते सुरक्षा मंत्री श्री राजनाथ सिंह आणि केंद्रीय रस्ते वाहतूक आणि महामार्ग मंत्री आणि MSME श्री नितीन गडकरी यांच्या हस्ते प्रथम राष्ट्रीय रस्ता सुरक्षा महिन्याचे (जानेवारी 18 ते फेब्रुवारी 17) उद्घाटन झाले.

3. Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare digitally chaired the 148th session of WHO Executive Board, through Video Conference.
डॉ. केंद्रीय आरोग्य व कुटुंब कल्याण मंत्री हर्ष वर्धन यांनी WHO कार्यकारी मंडळाच्या 148 व्या सत्राच्या अध्यक्षतेखाली व्हिडिओ कॉन्फरन्सद्वारे अध्यक्षता केली.

4. The Governor of Kerala, Arif Mohammad Khan officially launched the ‘One School One IAS’ program recently which aims to provide free coaching for UPSC Civil Services/ IAS Exams for poor meritorious students.
केरळचे राज्यपाल, आरिफ मोहम्मद खान यांनी अलीकडेच ‘वन स्कूल वन आयएएस’ कार्यक्रम अधिकृतपणे सुरू केला ज्याचा हेतू गरीब गुणवंत विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी UPSC सिव्हिल सर्व्हिसेस / IAS परीक्षांसाठी विनामूल्य कोचिंग प्रदान करणे आहे.

5. The full team of Election Commission of India (ECI) led by Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora is on a three-day visit to Assam to review the poll preparedness for the upcoming Assembly elections in the State.

6. The Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India (TRIFED) and Indian Farm Forestry Development Co-operative Ltd (IFFDC) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to work together for tribal livelihood generation.
आदिवासींच्या आजीविका निर्मितीसाठी एकत्रितपणे काम करण्यासाठी आदिवासी सहकारी विपणन विकास महासंघ (TRIFED) आणि इंडियन फार्म फॉरेस्ट्री डेव्हलपमेंट को-ऑपरेटिव्ह लिमिटेड (IFFDC) यांनी सामंजस्य करार केला.

7. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was unanimously chosen as the next Chairman of Shree Somnath Trust.

8. The Ministry of Finance (Dept. of Expenditure) has drafted a model bidding document for all central government departments to conduct public procurement to standardize the language and terms used and avoid contract disputes
अर्थ मंत्रालयाने (खर्चाचे विभाग) वापरलेली भाषा आणि अटींचे प्रमाणिकरण करण्यासाठी व कराराचे विवाद टाळण्यासाठी सर्व शासकीय विभागांसाठी सार्वजनिक खरेदी करण्यासाठी मॉडेल बिडिंग दस्तऐवज तयार केला आहे.

9. Russia announced its withdrawal from the Surveillance “Open Skies Treaty”. The treaty allows signatories to conduct unarmed surveillance flights on each other’s territory. In 2020, the United States announced that it will withdraw from the Open Skies Treaty.
रशियाने पाळत ठेवलेल्या “मुक्त आकाश करारा” मधून माघार घेण्याची घोषणा केली. या करारामुळे स्वाक्षर्‍या करणाऱ्यांना एकमेकांच्या हद्दीत नि: शस्त्र पाळत ठेवणे उड्डाणे करता येतात. सन 2020 मध्ये अमेरिकेने जाहीर केले की ते मुक्त आकाश करारावरून माघार घेतील.

10. In  Ladakh, the inaugural edition of the Khelo India Zanskar Winter Sport & Youth Festival 2021 kicked off on 18th January 2021.
लडाखमध्ये, खेलो इंडिया झांस्कर विंटर स्पोर्ट अँड यूथ फेस्टिव्हल 2021ची  उद्घाटन आवृत्ती 18 जानेवारी 2021 रोजी प्रारंभ झाली.
