| 1. Over the past ten years, India’s ecosystem for intellectual property rights (IPR) has expanded dramatically. But in 2024, patent applications stalled and received relatively few approvals, which sparked worries that innovation is being hampered by a lack of private sector R&D spending.

| 6. India is aggressively working with foreign organizations to close the workforce’s skill shortages. The sessions took place at the G20 employment working group conference in South Africa and featured representatives from Germany, the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), and the International Labour Organization (ILO).

This AI-powered tool analyses routine hospital data to provide timely vital information about antibiotic resistance patterns. The findings were published in The Lancet Regional Health Southeast Asia, showcasing a six-year study across 21 tertiary care centres in India.
