1. The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has enacted the ‘Food Safety and Standards (Alcoholic Beverages) First Amendment Regulations, 2023,’ which will come into effect on March 1, 2024. This amendment is aimed at enhancing the regulatory framework for the safety and standards of alcoholic beverages.
भारतीय अन्न सुरक्षा आणि मानक प्राधिकरण (FSSAI) ने 1 मार्च 2024 पासून ‘फूड सेफ्टी अँड स्टँडर्ड्स (अल्कोहोलिक बेव्हरेजेस) फर्स्ट अमेंडमेंट रेग्युलेशन्स, 2023’ सादर केला आहे.
2. The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) provided an update on the progress of its lunar mission, Chandrayaan-3. The Lander Vikram and Rover Pragyan are equipped with scientific payloads to conduct experiments on the lunar surface.

3. The government has introduced the ‘Mera Bill Mera Adhikaar’ initiative, which aims to promote a culture where customers proactively request invoices for all their purchases. This initiative is geared towards enhancing transparency and accountability in transactions.

4. The 26th National Conference on e-Governance is being hosted in Indore, focusing on discussions related to improving citizen services and facilities through the effective use of digital governance methods.
डिजिटल गव्हर्नन्स पद्धतींच्या प्रभावी वापराद्वारे नागरिक सेवा आणि सुविधा सुधारण्याशी संबंधित चर्चेवर लक्ष केंद्रित करून ई-गव्हर्नन्सवरील 26 वी राष्ट्रीय परिषद इंदूरमध्ये आयोजित केली जात आहे.
5. Former President Ram Nath Kovind inaugurated Kerala’s first AI (Artificial Intelligence) school at Santhigiri Vidyabhavan in Thiruvananthapuram. The school is aimed at providing education and training in the field of artificial intelligence to students, helping them develop skills in this emerging technology.
माजी राष्ट्रपती राम नाथ कोविंद यांनी तिरुअनंतपुरम येथील सांथीगिरी विद्याभवन येथे केरळमधील पहिल्या AI (कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्ता) शाळेचे उद्घाटन केले. विद्यार्थ्यांना कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्तेच्या क्षेत्रात शिक्षण आणि प्रशिक्षण देणे, त्यांना या उदयोन्मुख तंत्रज्ञानामध्ये कौशल्ये विकसित करण्यास मदत करणे हे शाळेचे उद्दिष्ट आहे.
6. Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in the 15th BRICS Summit held under South Africa’s chairmanship in Johannesburg. The summit aimed to discuss global economic recovery, strengthen partnerships with Africa and the Global South, and review the progress made on the BRICS agenda so far. BRICS is a grouping of five major emerging economies: Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa.
