1. Focusing on the most recent nationwide Household Consumption Expenditure Survey (HCES) carried out by the National Statistical Office in 2022-23, the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) has just released key findings from the survey.

4. Prime Minister Narendra Modi opened the strategically significant Sudarshan Setu bridge on February 24, 2024, which spans the Gulf of Kutch and links the Gujarati coast’s Beyt Dwarka Island with the Dwarka peninsula. It is India’s longest cable-stayed road bridge, spanning more than two km.
The bridge, once called “Signature Bridge,” has been dubbed “Sudarshan Setu,” or simply “Sudarshan Bridge.”
