1. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni unveiled a bust of India’s first home minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at the Indian community event in Kampala.
पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी व युगांडाचे राष्ट्रपति योवेरी मुसेवेनी यांनी भारतीय समुदायाच्या एका कार्यक्रमात कंपाला येथे भारताचे पहिले गृहमंत्री सरदार वल्लभभाई पटेल यांच्या प्रतिमेचे अनावरण केले.

2.  Ministry of Women and Child Development has launched ‘#Childline1098’ Contest- ‘Spot the Logo and Suggest a Tagline’.
महिला व बाल विकास मंत्रालयाने ‘#चाइल्डलाइन 1098’ स्पर्धा लाँच केली – लोगो स्पॉट करा आणि एक टॅगलाइन सांगा.

3. Tata AIA Life announced the appointment of Rishi Srivastava as the new Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director of the company.
टाटा AIA लाइफने ऋषी श्रीवास्तव यांची कंपनीचे नवीन मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी व व्यवस्थापकीय संचालक म्हणून नियुक्ती केली.

4. Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, will inaugurate the 2nd Conference of Young Superintendent of Police in New Delhi. It is being organized by Bureau of Police Research & Development (BPR&D).
केंद्रीय गृहमंत्री राजनाथसिंह, नवी दिल्ली येथे युवा पोलिस अधीक्षकांच्या दुसर्या परिषदेचे उद्घाटन करतील. हे ब्युरो ऑफ पोलीस रिसर्च अँड डेव्हलपमेंट (बीपीआर अँड डी) द्वारे आयोजित केले जात आहे.

5. DHFL and United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has announced a loan guarantee of around Rs 70 crore ($10 million) to improve capital access for small businesses in the healthcare sector.
डीएचएफएल आणि युनायटेड स्टेटस एजन्सी फॉर इंटरनॅशनल डेव्हलपमेन्ट (यूएसए आयडीए) ने आरोग्यसेवा क्षेत्रातील छोट्या व्यवसायासाठी भांडवल प्रवेश सुधारण्यासाठी सुमारे 70 कोटी रुपयांची ($ 10 दशलक्ष) कर्जाची हमी जाहीर केली आहे.

6. The Government has set up a four-member committee to curb mob violence. It is headed by Home Secretary Shri Rajiv Gauba.
शासनाने हिंसाचार रोखण्यासाठी चार सदस्यीय समिती स्थापन केली आहे. गृह सचिव श्री राजीव गौबा यांनी हे पद भूषवले आहे.

9. Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is on the visit to 3 African Nations, described Uganda as the ‘pearl of Africa’ and said that India will strengthen its cooperation and mutual capabilities with Africa to combat terrorism and extremism.
3 आफ्रिकन नेशन्सच्या दौ-यावर असलेले पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी युगांडाला ‘मोती’ असे नाव दिले आणि ते म्हणाले की भारत दहशतवाद आणि अतिरेकींचा सामना करण्यासाठी आफ्रिकेच्या सहकार्यासह परस्पर क्षमता मजबूत करेल.

10.  Bengali actress Basabi Nandi died. He was 82.
बंगाली अभिनेत्री बसबी नंदी यांचे निधन झाले. त्या 82 वर्षांच्या होत्या.
