1. India has picked almost 28% or $ 1.4 billion of AIIB’s total funding for seven projects. Finance Minister, Piyush Goyal said ‘In India, Infrastructure creation requires $4.5 trillion investments over the next 10 years’. India is expecting investment in 9 more infrastructure projects with a funding of $ 2.4 billion from AIIB.
भारताने सात प्रकल्पांसाठी 28 टक्के किंवा एआयआयबीच्या 1.4 अब्ज डॉलरच्या एकूण निधीची निवड केली आहे. अर्थमंत्री पीयूष गोयल म्हणाले की, भारतामध्ये पायाभूत सुविधांची निर्मितीसाठी पुढील 10 वर्षांमध्ये 4.5 ट्रिलियन गुंतवणूक अपेक्षित आहे. एआयआयबीकडून 2.4 अब्ज डॉलरच्या निधीसह 9 आणखी पायाभूत प्रकल्पांना भारतात गुंतवणूक अपेक्षित आहे.

2. Air pollution is affecting trees by causing malnutrition in the form of discolored leaves and excessive falling of leaves in European countries. This research is done by lead researcher Martin Bidartondo from Imperial College London.
वायू प्रदूषण विस्कळित पाने आणि युरोपीय देशांमधील पानांची जास्त घसरण करण्याच्या रूपात कुपोषित झाल्यामुळे झाडांना प्रभावित करत आहे. हे संशोधन प्रमुख संशोधक मार्टिन बीडारटोंडो यांनी इंपिरियल कॉलेज लंडनमधून केले आहे.

3. UN decides 26 June as the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.
संयुक्त राष्ट्रसंघाने 26 जून रोजी ड्रग्ज अॅब्युज आणि अवैध ट्रॅफिकिंग विरोधातील आंतरराष्ट्रीय दिवस म्हणून निर्णय घेतला.

4. Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje has been conferred with the ‘Chief Minister of the Year’ award for her remarkable work in e-governance.
राजस्थानचे मुख्यमंत्री वसुंधरा राजे यांना ई-गव्हर्नन्समधील आपल्या उल्लेखनीय कामासाठी ‘चीफ मिनिस्टर ऑफ द ईयर’ पुरस्कार प्रदान करण्यात आला आहे.

5. Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) has approved $200 million investment in the National Infrastructure and Investment Fund (NIIF).
एशियन इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर इन्व्हेस्टमेंट बँक (एआयआयबी) ने नॅशनल इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर अँड इन्व्हेस्टमेंट फंड (एनआयआयएफ) मध्ये 200 दशलक्ष डॉलर्सची गुंतवणूक मंजूर केली आहे.

6. India and Bangladesh have agreed to institute a Coordinated Patrol (CORPAT) as an annual feature between the two navies.
भारत आणि बांग्लादेश यांनी दोन्ही नौदलांमधील वार्षिक वैशिष्ट्याप्रमाणे एक कोऑर्डिनेटेड गस्त (सीओआरपीएटी) स्थापन करण्याचे मान्य केले आहे.

7. To boost the sales of domestic products amid US sanctions, Iran’s Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade has banned the import of 1,400 items.
अमेरिकेने केलेल्या मंजुरीच्या दरम्यान देशांतर्गत उत्पादनांच्या विक्रीला बढावा देण्यासाठी, इराणच्या उद्योग मंत्रालयाने, खान व व्यापाराने 1,400 वस्तूंच्या आयातीवर बंदी घातली आहे

8. R. Pragyananda of India has become the youngest in the country and the second youngest Grandmaster in the world.
भारतातील आर.  प्रागनानंदा हा देशातील सर्वात तरुण व जगात दुसरा सर्वात लहान ग्रँडमास्टर ठरला आहे.

9. Amit Saroha has clinched the gold medal in the World Para Athletics Grand Prix.
जागतिक पारा ऍथलेटिक्स ग्रांप्रीमध्ये अमित सरोहाने सुवर्णपदक मिळविले आहे.

10. Mandeep Jangra (69kg) has won a gold medal in the Ulaanbaatar Cup in Mongolia.
मंगोलियातील उलानबातर स्पर्धेत मनदीप जांग्रा (69 किलो) ने सुवर्णपदक पटकावले.
