1. The President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, inaugurated the International Arya Mahasammelan – 2018 in Delhi.
भारताचे राष्ट्रपती, श्री रामनाथ कोविंद यांनी दिल्लीत  ‘इंटरनेशनल आर्य महासम्मेलन- 2018’ चे उद्घाटन केले.

2. Wipro said it had appointed former State Bank of India chairman Arundhati Bhattacharya as an independent director beginning January 1, 2019.
विप्रोने  01 जानेवारी 2019 स्वतंत्र संचालक म्हणून भारतीय स्टेट बँकच्या माजी अध्यक्षा अरुंधती भट्टाचार्य यांना  नियुक्त केले आहे.

3. Senior diplomat Saurabh Kumar has been appointed India’s ambassador to Myanmar.
म्यानमारमध्ये भारताचे राजदूत म्हणून सौरभ कुमार यांची नियुक्ती करण्यात आली आहे.

4. US President Donald Trump designated Indian-American Neil Chatterjee as chairman of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).
अमेरिकेचे राष्ट्रपती डोनाल्ड ट्रम्प यांनी इंडियन-अमेरिकन नील चॅटर्जी यांना फेडरल एनर्जी रेग्युलेटरी कमिशन (एफईआरसी) चे अध्यक्ष म्हणून नियुक्त केले.

5. Bilateral Defence Ministers Dialogue between India and Indonesia was concluded in Jakarta.
भारत आणि इंडोनेशिया दरम्यान द्विपक्षीय संरक्षण मंत्री यांची बैठक जकार्ता येथे संपन्न झाली.

6. Centre has established a Group of Ministers (GoM), headed by Home Minister Rajnath Singh, to recommend measures to effectively implement the law against sexual harassment at the workplace.
कामाच्या ठिकाणी लैंगिक छळाच्या विरोधात कायद्याचे प्रभावीपणे अंमलबजावणी करण्याच्या उपायांची शिफारस करण्यासाठी केंद्र सरकारने गृहमंत्री राजनाथ सिंह यांच्या अध्यक्षतेखाली केंद्रांचे एक गट (जीओएम) स्थापन केला आहे.

7. Southern Railway made Rs.3.63 crore because of the Maha Pushkaram celebration along the course of the Thamirabarani, Tamil Nadu.
तमिळनाडुच्या थमिराबरानी या मार्गावर महा पुष्करम उत्सव असल्यामुळे दक्षिण रेल्वेने 3.33 कोटीची कमाई केली.

8. Human Resource Development Minister Launches Web Portal Of SPARC In New Delhi. The main aim is to improve the research ecosystem of India’s higher educational institutions by facilitating academic and research collaborations between Indian Institutions and the best institutions in the world.
मानव संसाधन विकास मंत्री नवी दिल्ली येथे SPARCचे वेब पोर्टल लॉन्च केले आहे.  भारतीय संस्था आणि जगातील सर्वोत्तम संस्थांमधील शैक्षणिक आणि संशोधन सहकार्यांना सुलभ करून भारताच्या उच्च शैक्षणिक संस्थांचे संशोधन पर्यावरणामध्ये सुधारणा करणे हा मुख्य उद्देश आहे.

9. Tata Chemicals (TCL) signed an agreement with CSIRCECRI (Central Electrochemical Research Institute), Karaikudi in Tamil Nadu, to explore collaborative technology scaling up of manufacturing cathode materials for Lithium-ion cells.
टाटा केमिकल्स (टीसीएल) ने लिथियम-आयन पेशींच्या उत्पादनासाठी कॅथोड सामग्री तयार करण्याच्या सहयोगी तंत्रज्ञानाचा शोध घेण्यासाठी तमिळनाडुमधील CSIRCECRI (सेंट्रल इलेक्ट्रोकेमिकल रिसर्च इन्स्टिट्यूट), करैकुडी यांच्याशी करार केला आहे.
