| 3. Recent discoveries from China’s Zhurong rover have uncovered indications of a primordial ocean on Mars. Ground-penetrating radar data indicates the existence of sandy beach-like formations beneath the Martian surface. This finding corroborates the concept of a substantial ocean, referred to as Deuteronilus, that existed around 3.5 to 4 billion years ago. At this period, Mars possessed a denser atmosphere and a more temperate environment, features that may have facilitated the existence of life.

| 4. The National Geospatial Knowledge-based Land Survey of Urban Habitations (NAKSHA) was inaugurated on February 18, 2025, by Union Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The effort seeks to modernize urban land records in India, tackling the persistent problem of antiquated mapping in several metropolitan regions. This effort is a component of the Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP) and will be piloted in 152 urban local bodies across 26 states.
