1. The World Health Organization (WHO)-led coalition ACT-Accelerator announced that it needs $31.3 billion over the next 12 months to fight the COVID-19 and to develop and roll out tests, treatments and vaccines.
वर्ल्ड हेल्थ ऑर्गनायझेशन (WHO) आघाडीच्या युती-ॲक्ट-एक्सेलेटरने जाहीर केले की कोविड-19 ची लढाई करण्यासाठी आणि चाचण्या, उपचार आणि लस तयार करण्यासाठी आणि पुढच्या 12 महिन्यांत $31.3 अब्ज डॉलर्सची आवश्यकता आहे.

2. Senior IAS officer Vini Mahajan assumed charge as Punjab’s first woman chief secretary on 26 June 2020.

3. Secretary Department of Science and Technology (DST) Prof Ashutosh Sharma launched the official Logo for the Golden Jubilee Commemoration Year celebration. DST under the Ministry of Science & Technology has announced many activities like special lecture series of 15-20 lectures in the form of webinars and short feature films on each Autonomous Institutions for the year.
सचिव आणि विज्ञान आणि तंत्रज्ञान विभाग (डीएसटी) प्रा आशुतोष शर्मा यांच्या हस्ते सुवर्ण महोत्सवी स्मृती वर्ष सोहळ्यासाठी अधिकृत लोगो लॉन्च करण्यात आला. विज्ञान आणि तंत्रज्ञान मंत्रालयाच्या अंतर्गत डीएसटीने वर्षातील प्रत्येक स्वायत्त संस्थांवरील वेबिनार आणि शॉर्ट फीचर फिल्मच्या स्वरूपात 15-20 व्याख्यानांच्या विशेष व्याख्यानमाले यासारख्या अनेक क्रियाकलापांची घोषणा केली आहे.

4. The US Space Agency, NASA has announced that its headquarters in Washington, D.C., will be named after Mary W. Jackson, one of its history-making engineers. The information was passed by NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine.
यूएस स्पेस एजन्सी, नासाने जाहीर केले आहे की वॉशिंग्टन, डीसी मधील मुख्यालयाचे नाव इतिहास संशोधक अभियंता मेरी डब्ल्यू. जॅक्सन यांच्या नावावर ठेवले जाईल. नासा प्रशासक जिम ब्रिडनस्टाईन यांनी ही माहिती पुरविली.

5. President Ram Nath Kovind promulgated the Banking Regulation (Amendment) Ordinance, 2020. It is in pursuance with the commitment to ensure the safety of depositors across banks. The Ordinance will amend the Banking Regulation Act 1949 as applicable to Cooperative Banks.
राष्ट्रपती राम नाथ कोविंद यांनी बँकिंग रेग्युलेशन (दुरुस्ती) अध्यादेश, 2020  जारी केला. बँकांमधील ठेवीदारांची सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करण्याच्या वचनबद्धतेनुसार हे काम चालू आहे. हा अध्यादेश सहकारी बँकांना लागू असलेल्या बँकिंग नियमन कायदा 1949 मध्ये सुधारित करेल.

6. Russia’s Energia space corporation said that it will take the first tourist on a space walk in 2023, under the terms of a new contract with a US partner.
रशियाच्या एनर्जिया स्पेस कॉर्पोरेशनने सांगितले की ते अमेरिकेच्या भागीदारासह नवीन कराराच्या अटींनुसार 2023 मध्ये अंतराळ प्रवासावर पहिले पर्यटक घेईल.

7. India has moved down three places to 77th rank in terms of money parked by its citizens and enterprises with Swiss banks at the end of 2019.
2019 च्या अखेरीस स्वित्झर्लंडमधील नागरिकांनी आणि उद्योजकांनी उभ्या केलेल्या पैशांच्या बाबतीत भारत तीन स्थान खाली घसरत 77 व्या क्रमांकावर आला आहे.

8. The Indian Railways has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with RailTel for installation of an IP-based video surveillance system at 6,049 railway stations across the country.
भारतीय रेल्वेने देशभरातील रेल्वे 6,049 स्थानकांवर आयपी-आधारित व्हिडिओ पाळत ठेवणे प्रणाली बसवण्यासाठी रेलटेलबरोबर सामंजस्य करार (एमओयू) वर स्वाक्षरी केली आहे.

9. A research team at the Indian Institute of Science in Bengaluru has developed nanozymes that destroy the cell membrane of bacteria by directly targeting its phospholipids.
बंगळुरुमधील इंडियन इन्स्टिट्यूट ऑफ सायन्स येथे संशोधन संस्थेने नॅनोझाइम्स विकसित केले आहेत ज्यामुळे फॉस्फोलायपीड्सना थेट लक्ष्य करून बॅक्टेरियांच्या पेशीच्या झिल्ली नष्ट होतात.

10. Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOC) and Sun Mobility announced the launch of a battery swapping facility for electric vehicles (EVs) at IOC petrol pumps.
इंडियन ऑयल कॉर्पोरेशन लिमिटेड (IOC) आणि सन मोबिलिटीने आयओसी पेट्रोल पंपांवर इलेक्ट्रिक वाहनांसाठी (EVs) बॅटरी स्वॅपिंग सुविधा सुरू करण्याची घोषणा केली.
