1. Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has set up a six-member committee to review the economic capital framework of the central bank. Former RBI Governor Bimal Jalan will be the committee’s chairman.
भारतीय रिझर्व्ह बँक (आरबीआय) ने केंद्रीय बँकेच्या आर्थिक भांडवल चौकटीचे पुनरावलोकन करण्यासाठी सहा सदस्यीय समिती स्थापन केली आहे. माजी आरबीआय गव्हर्नर बिमल जालन समितीचे अध्यक्ष असतील.

2. The Lok Sabha on December 27 passed The Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Marriage) Bill, 2018.
27 डिसेंबर रोजी लोकसभेने मुस्लिम महिला (विवाहावरील हक्कांचे संरक्षण) विधेयक, 2018 मंजूर केले.

3. Rajesh Subramaniam is appointed as CEO of FedEx Express.
राजेश सुब्रमण्यम यांना फेडेक्स एक्सप्रेसचे मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी म्हणून नियुक्त केले आहे.

4. President Ram Nath Kovind issued a gazette notification for the functioning of the new High Court in Amaravati. The new High Court for Andhra Pradesh will be the 25th High Court in the country.
अमरावतीतील नवीन उच्च न्यायालयाच्या कामकाजासाठी राष्ट्रपती रामनाथ कोविंद यांनी राजपत्रित अधिसूचना जारीर केली. आंध्रप्रदेशसाठी नवीन उच्च न्यायालय देशातील 25वे उच्च न्यायालय असेल.

5. Bijay Kumar has been appointed as the deputy managing director of Infrastructure Leasing & Financial Services (IL&FS).
इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर लीझिंग अँड फायनान्शियल सर्व्हिसेस (IL&FS)चे डिप्टी मॅनेजिंग डायरेक्टर म्हणून विजय कुमार यांची नियुक्ती करण्यात आली आहे.

6. Air Marshal Rajeev Sachdeva, took over as Deputy Chief of Integrated Defence Staff (Operations) (DCIDS).
एअर मार्शल राजीव सचदेव यांची  इन्टिग्रेटेड डिफेन्स स्टाफ (ऑपरेशन्स) (DCIDS) चे  उपाध्यक्ष म्हणून नियुक्ती झाली आहे.

7. China has successfully tested Russia’s S-400 missile air defence system.
चीनने रशियाच्या S-400 मिसाइल वायु संरक्षणाची यशस्वी चाचणी केली आहे.

8. Captain Virat Kohli has set a new record for most runs overseas by an Indian batsman in a calendar year.
भारतातर्फे परदेशी जमिनीवर कॅप्टन विराट कोहली एक कॅलेंडर वर्षात सर्वाधिक धावा करणारा खेळाडू ठरला आहे.

9. Former Australia captain Ricky Ponting has been formally inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame.
ऑस्ट्रेलियाच्या माजी कर्णधार रिकी पॉंटिंगला औपचारिकपणे आयसीसी क्रिकेट हॉल ऑफ फेममध्ये समाविष्ट करण्यात आले आहे.

10. Former Union Minister Captain Jai Narain Prasad Nishad has passed away. He was 88.
माजी केंद्रीय मंत्री कॅप्टन जय नारायण प्रसाद निशाद यांचे निधन झाले आहे. ते 88 वर्षांचे होते.
