1. India successfully completed ‘Mission Shakti’ operation where it destroyed a live satellite on a low earth orbit (LEO) using an Anti-Satellite (ASAT) missile in three minutes. India has become the 4th country after the US, Russia and China in the world to achieve this historic feat.
भारताने ‘मिशन शक्ती’ ऑपरेशन यशस्वीरित्या पूर्ण केले जेथे त्याने तीन मिनिटांमध्ये अँटी-सैटेलाइट (एएसएटी) क्षेपणास्त्र वापरुन निम्न पृथ्वी कक्षा (LEO) वर थेट उपग्रह नष्ट केले. अमेरिका, रशिया आणि चीन या ऐतिहासिक कार्यात साध्य करण्यासाठी भारत हा चौथा देश बनला आहे.

2. The country’s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) has re-appointed Kenichi Ayukawa as Managing Director and CEO for a period of three years with effect from April 1, 2019.
देशातील सर्वात मोठी कार निर्माता मारुती सुझुकी इंडिया (एमएसआय) ने 1 एप्रिल 2019 पासून तीन वर्षांच्या कालावधीसाठी केनिची अयुकावा यांना व्यवस्थापकीय संचालक आणि सीईओ म्हणून पुन्हा नियुक्त केले आहे.

3. Researchers at the Indian Institute of Technology-Delhi have developed an Artificial Intelligence-based electronic hardware system to detect malaria, tuberculosis, an intestinal parasite, and cervical cancer in milliseconds.
इंडियन इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नॉलॉजी-दिल्ली येथील संशोधकांनी मलेरिया, क्षय रोग, आतड्यांवरील परजीवी आणि मिलिसेकंदांमध्ये ग्रीक कर्करोगाचा शोध घेण्यासाठी आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस-आधारित इलेक्ट्रॉनिक हार्डवेअर सिस्टम विकसित केले आहे.

4. Cabinet approved a proposal of six additional posts of judicial and technical members in the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT). The tribunal hears appeals against rulings of the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT)
कॅबिनेटने नॅशनल कंपनी लॉ अपीलीट ट्रिब्यूनल (एनसीएलएटी) मध्ये न्यायिक आणि तांत्रिक सदस्यांच्या सहा अतिरिक्त पदांचा प्रस्ताव मंजूर केला. नॅशनल कंपनी लॉ ट्रिब्यूनल (एनसीएलटी) च्या निर्णयाविरोधात ट्रिब्यूनल अपील ऐकतो.

5. Social Media giant, Facebook has launched two new India-specific tools viz. “Candidate Connect” and “Share You Voted” to boost civic engagement on its platform during the Lok Sabha elections 2019 that commence in April. Both these tools will be made available in 12 local languages
फेसबुकने दोन नवीन भारत-विशिष्ट साधने बाजारात आणली आहेत. एप्रिलमध्ये सुरू होणार्या लोकसभा निवडणुकांच्या 2019 -10 दरम्यान आपल्या व्यासपीठावर नागरिक सहभाग वाढविण्यासाठी “उमेदवार कनेक्ट” आणि “शेयर यू वोटेड”. हे दोन्ही साधने 12 स्थानिक भाषांमध्ये उपलब्ध करुन देण्यात येतील.

6. Public sector Bank, Bank of Baroda has made an announcement about developing an agri-digital platform called ‘Baroda Kisan’. The platform is to provide solutions for all major agricultural requirements.
बँक ऑफ बडोदाने  ‘बड़ौदा किसान’ नामक एक कृषि-डिजिटल प्लॅटफॉर्म विकसित करण्याची घोषणा केली आहे. सर्व प्रमुख कृषी आवश्यकतांसाठी उपाय प्रदान करण्यासाठी हा प्लॅटफॉर्म आहे.

7. The Executive Board of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) has recommended adding breakdancing, skateboarding, sport climbing and surfing to the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
आंतरराष्ट्रीय ओलंपिक समितीच्या (आयओसी) कार्यकारी मंडळाने ब्रेकडान्सिंग, स्केटबोर्डिंग, स्पोर्ट क्लाइंबिंग आणि सर्फिंग 2024 पॅरिस ऑलिंपिक गेम्समध्ये  करण्याची शिफारस केली आहे.

8. Manu Bhaker and Saurabh Chaudhary have bagged a Gold medal in the 10-metre Air Pistol Mixed team event at the 12th Asian Airgun Championship at Taoyuan in Taipei.
मनु भाकर आणि सौरभ चौधरी यांनी ताइपेई मधील ताओयुआन येथे 12 व्या आशियाई एअरगुन चॅम्पियनशिपमध्ये 10 मीटर एअर पिस्टल मिश्र संघात सुवर्ण पदक पटकावले आहे.

9. According to the Multi-dimensional Poverty Index 2018 report, the four poorest states namely Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh were still home to 196 million MPI poor people, which was over half of all the MPI poor people in India.

10. Well-known Malayalam writer and poet Ashita passed away at the age of 63.
मल्याळम लेखिका आणि कवियित्री अष्टिता यांचे निधन झाले. त्या 63 वर्षांच्या होत्या.
