1. The Odisha government announced it will set up two 500-bed hospitals to exclusively treat Covid-19 patients.
ओडिशा सरकारने कोविड -19 च्या रूग्णांवर पूर्णपणे उपचार करण्यासाठी दोन 500 खाटांची दोन रुग्णालये सुरू करण्याची घोषणा केली.

2. The Indian Railways have prepared a prototype of train coaches that can be used as isolation units for COVID-19 patients.

3. Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has developed a health app named “COVID-19″, after the virus itself, under the guidance of Municipal Commissioner, Tukaram Mundhe.

4. Indian Army has launched an initiative christened ‘Operation Namaste’ to extend all possible assistance to the government in containing the spread of coronavirus.

5. An article published in the Financial Times stated that the Coronavirus lockdown has affected India’s supply chain.

6. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare issued a directive that restricts the sale and distribution of hydroxychloroquine. The drug has been declared an essential drug to treat the COVID-19 patients.
आरोग्य आणि कुटुंब कल्याण मंत्रालयाने हायड्रॉक्सीक्लोरोक्विनच्या विक्री आणि वितरणास प्रतिबंधित करणारे एक निर्देश जारी केले. कोविड-19 रूग्णांवर उपचार करण्यासाठी हे औषध एक आवश्यक औषध म्हणून घोषित केले गेले आहे.

7. Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has prepared four different items ready to be deployed in the war against Corona as a result of a focused approach.

8. Sikkim Chief Minister P S Tamang announced an economic package to provide immediate relief to economically weaker sections (EWS) of society following a meeting of the State Task Force for COVID-19 prevention in Gangtok on 27 March.
27 मार्च रोजी गंगटोक येथे कोविड-19 रोखण्यासाठी राज्य टास्क फोर्सच्या बैठकीनंतर समाजातील आर्थिकदृष्ट्या दुर्बल घटकांना (EWS) त्वरित दिलासा देण्यासाठी सिक्कीमचे मुख्यमंत्री पी एस तामांग यांनी आर्थिक पॅकेज जाहीर केले.

9. India is set to begin antibody tests for the coronavirus to confirm whether a person had previously been infected with the virus. The move is expected to help understand the epidemiology of COVID-19 in the country.
यापूर्वी एखाद्या व्यक्तीला विषाणूची लागण झाली आहे की नाही याची खातरजमा करण्यासाठी कोरोनाव्हायरसची प्रतिजैविक चाचणी भारत सुरू करणार आहे. या निर्णयामुळे देशातील कोविड-19 चे साथीचे रोग समजून घेण्यास मदत होईल अशी अपेक्षा आहे.

10. The Reserve Bank permitted banks, NBFCs (including housing finance companies) and other financial institutions to allow a three-month moratorium on payment of installments on term loans in view of the disruption caused by the coronavirus outbreak.
रिझर्व्ह बँकेने कोरोनव्हायरसच्या उद्रेकामुळे उद्भवलेल्या अडथळ्याच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर बँका, एनबीएफसी (गृहनिर्माण वित्त कंपन्यांसह) आणि अन्य वित्तीय संस्थांना मुदतीच्या कर्जावरील हप्ते भरण्यासाठी तीन महिन्यांच्या स्थगितीची परवानगी दिली.
