1. International Dance Day is a global celebration of dance, created by the Dance Committee of the International Theatre Institute (ITI), the main partner for the performing arts of UNESCO.
29 एप्रिल रोजी साजरा करण्यात येणारा आंतरराष्ट्रीय नृत्य दिवस हा आंतरराष्ट्रीय नाट्य संस्था (आयटीआय) च्या नृत्य समितीने तयार केलेला नृत्य महोत्सवाची जागतिक उत्सव आहे, जो युनेस्कोच्या प्रदर्शन कलांचे मुख्य भागीदार आहे.

2. Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena has issued an order for a ban on burqa, veil or covering of the face in a manner which prevents anyone from being identified.
श्रीलंकेचे राष्ट्रपती  मेथ्रिपला सिरीसेना यांनी बुर्का, घूंघट किंवा चेहरा झाकण्यावर बंदी घातली आहे ज्यामुळे कोणालाही ओळखता येत नाही.

3. Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman attended the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Defence Ministers’ meeting in the Kyrgyzstan capital Bishkek.Mrs Sitharaman will also hold bilateral meetings with her counterparts from some SCO member countries on the sidelines of the conclave.
संरक्षण मंत्री निर्मला सीतारामन यांनी किर्गिस्तानच्या बिश्केकमधील संरक्षण मंत्र्यांच्या बैठकीत शांघाय सहकार संघटना (एससीओ) मध्ये भाग घेतला. श्रीमती सीतारमण देखील काही एससीओ सदस्य देशांकडून त्यांच्या समकक्षांसह संमेलनादरम्यान द्विपक्षीय बैठक आयोजित करतील.

4. Gagandeep Kang becomes first Indian woman scientist to be awarded Fellowship of the Royal Society (FRS), United Kingdom.
गगनदीप कांग प्रथम भारतीय महिला शास्त्रज्ञ आहेत ज्यांना युनायटेड किंगडमच्या फेलोशिप ऑफ द रॉयल सोसायटी (एफआरएस)ने  पुरस्कृत केले आहे.

5. Canara Bank and its life insurance partner Canara HSBC Oriental Bank of Commerce Life Insurance launched ’Webassurance’ to enable its customers to purchase life insurance in a convenient and hassle-free way.
कॅनरा बँक आणि त्याचे जीवन विमा भागीदार केनरा एचएसबीसी ओरिएंटल बँक ऑफ कॉमर्स लाइफ इन्शुरन्सने ‘वेबसाइरन्स’ लॉन्च केले आहे जेणेकरुन ग्राहकांना जीवन विम्यासाठी सोयीस्कर आणि त्रासदायक मार्गाने खरेदी करता येईल.

6. The second edition of Belt and Road Forum (BRF) was held in Beijing, China from April 25th to April 27th, 2019 in which 37 heads-of-state had participated along with United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and International Monetary Chief (IMF) Christine Lagarde.
बेल्ट आणि रोड फोरम (बीआरएफ) ची दुसरी आवृत्ती 25 एप्रिल ते 27 एप्रिल 2019 दरम्यान चीनच्या बीजिंग येथे आयोजित करण्यात आली, ज्यामध्ये 37 राष्ट्राध्यक्षांनी संयुक्त राष्ट्राचे महासचिव अँटोनियो ग्युटेरस आणि आंतरराष्ट्रीय मुद्रा प्रमुख (आयएमएफ) क्रिस्टीन लागर्डे यांच्यासह सहभाग घेतला होता.

7. Financial Software Services (FSS) has launched FSS Voice Commerce which is a real-time voice banking platform to provide customers with personalized banking interactions.

10. Former Ethiopian president Negasso Gidada Solon passed away at the age of 75 in Germany for an unspecified illness.
