1. Every year, the United Nations celebrates International Day of UN Peacekeepers on May 29. This year the day is being celebrated under the theme Women in Peacekeeping: A key to Peace.

2. The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Government of India signed a $177 million loan to upgrade 450 kilometers of state highways and major district roads in Maharashtra.
महाराष्ट्रातील high50० किलोमीटर राज्य महामार्ग व प्रमुख जिल्हा रस्ते सुधारित करण्यासाठी एशियन डेव्हलपमेंट बँक (एडीबी) आणि भारत सरकारने १$7 दशलक्ष डॉलर्स कर्जावर स्वाक्षरी केली.

3. On May 28, 2020, the Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman chaired Financial Stability and Development Council meet.
28 मे 2020 रोजी केंद्रीय अर्थमंत्री निर्मला सीतारामन यांच्या अध्यक्षतेखाली वित्तीय स्थिरता आणि विकास परिषदेची बैठक झाली.

4. The World Health Organization recently suspended its trials on the efficacy of the drug Hydroxychloroquine in treating COVID-19. The HCQ trial is one of the four mega trials initiated by the organization.
जागतिक आरोग्य संघटनेने नुकतेच कोविड-19 च्या उपचारात हायड्रॉक्सीक्लोरोक्विन या औषधाच्या कार्यक्षमतेवरील चाचण्या निलंबित केल्या. एचसीक्यू चाचणी संस्थेने सुरू केलेल्या चार मेगा ट्रायल्स पैकी एक आहे.

5. Centre has been renamed the Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology (CIPET), a premier national institution under the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, as Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET). The announcement was made by the Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilizers DV Sadananda Gowda.
केंद्राचे नामकरण सेंट्रल इन्स्टिट्यूट ऑफ प्लास्टिक इंजीनियरिंग & टेक्नॉलॉजी (CIPET), केंद्रीय रसायन व खते मंत्रालयाच्या अंतर्गत प्रमुख राष्ट्रीय संस्था असून ते पेट्रोकेमिकल्स अभियांत्रिकी व तंत्रज्ञान संस्था (CIPET) केले गेले. केंद्रीय रसायन व खत मंत्री डीव्ही सदानंद गौडा यांनी ही घोषणा केली.
